Drastic Measures

I waited in my office the next day as I couldn't help but smile. I was going to see Y/N today and I couldn't wait to see her beautiful face. I heard a knock and heard the nurse say that she arrived.

"Great, I'll be there in a second." I said as I sprayed some mint spray in my mouth before getting up and walking towards the room she was in. I knocked on the door before walking inside to see that Y/N and her mother were there. I sort of hoped it just be Y/N herself but maybe a little later.

"Hi Y/N, Mrs. Y/L/N, how are you two doing?"

"We are doing just fine thank you." Her mother replied.

"Good I'm glad, alright so I'm going to actually have to take some X-rays Y/N to see how the progress went along. If you could just come with me. Mrs. Y/L/N, you can stay here until we get back." I replied before I had Y/N motion to follow me.

I closed the door behind me as we walked down the hallway.

"How is school going?"

"It's alright I guess." She replied.

"Why the 'I guess?'" I asked.

"Well, it's just there is this boy at school and he keeps bothering me. It's not just a simple thing either, I mean he really is a big problem and I don't know what to do to get rid of him."

I felt myself staring straight forward with hate in my eyes knowing that Andrew just kept on pushing.

"Hmm, I see. What does he do?"

"He pesters me to go out with him, he never takes no for an answer. He always tries to get me alone and one time he did it and he put his hands on me. I think he's dangerous but when I try to tell my teachers, he goes ahead and acts all innocent to convince them otherwise. He's gotten my teachers to believe him instead of me because he's the star of the football team. It isn't fair. I don't even like going to school because I don't want to deal with him. It almost makes me afraid to go to school." She replied.

I hated to hear that she was constantly living in fear. Andrew just seemed to not get it. Looks like I was really gonna have to do something I didn't want to just to protect my baby. 

"I'm sure something will work out for you soon Y/N, just be careful."

I wish there was more I could tell her to assure her that everything will be alright, but I couldn't tell her what was going to happen. This Andrew was going to something coming to him that was for sure. The medicine shipped out and it arrived to his house. Before he goes to school tomorrow, he'll take a couple pills and he'll have one hell of a day. 

"I'll try to, but I'm not very strong, he's stronger than me and if he gets me alone one more time he'll do worse."

"If I could protect you Y/N I surely would. Sadly, I'm not a high school boy or a teacher so I wouldn't be able to do a thing, but I might actually ask a couple of my nephews to keep a look out so they could help."

"Oh yeah, they go to my school, I seen them around. You would really do that for me?"

"Of course I would." I said softly.

"You're very caring Dr. Jackson, you must have a lot of nurses and women wanting to be close to you. Aren't you married though?"

I only laughed softly, as it sort of made me flattered to think she thought I had a lot of women after me.

"Oh no, that's surely not true. I usually keep to myself so that doesn't happen much at all. Well, I was once married but that ended some time ago so it's just me on my own right now. I hope to find someone new very soon though." I replied as I looked at her. Her eyes were on me as she slowly looked straight forward.
