Hello, thank you to everyone reading my book! I would just like to give a quick shout out to @Percabeth4eva001for commenting on my book and inspiring me to put up the next chapter. I would also like to mention @VollyBallFun for being a very nice reader as well as for having an amazing book. To any Selection fans, this is the book for you. I hope you like it. I have no clue what I'm going to write next soooooooo....I hope I like it too! *sadness induced by inability to add nervous/laughing face emoji* <--- I know I'm weird...anyways! Sirius POV:
"Wow, mate. Don't forget to close your mouth, you might catch some flies with it hanging open like that." A sudden blush burned at my cheeks and I turned to James in annoyance as Evelina laughed at something Scarlette told her. I gave James a quick punch in the arm just in time fot the rainbow haired girl looked up.
"Oi, Sirius. What's up with the blush? Are you sick or something? Or maybe your hair color is spreading to your face." I narrowed my eyes and did my best to suppress the tinge in my face. Then, after a second, I snatched an apple from the bin and stood up. I walked past Remus (he was discussing our potions homework with Lily) and Alice until I was standing directly in front of Evelina. I threw on a smirk and bent down until Evelina was eye level with me. I vaguely registered the centimeter distance between her lips and mine before tossing the thought into my mind's trash bin.
"Oh, Evelina," I lightly cupped her chin with my free hand while everyone around us watched with curiously. She looked right at me stony faced, but I noticed a slight tremor in her hand resting on the table. "The only thing making me sick is your ungodly act of cruelty against my hair." And with that I released her chin, flicking her nose in the process. As I straightened up Evelina's lips parted and her mouth hung open at my antics. My smirk grew as I unceremoniously shoved the apple into her mouth and returned to my seat, laughing with all of our friend.
"Bloody hell, Sirius! I thought you were going to snog her!" Now it was Evelina's turn to blush as she pinched Peter for saying something so ridiculous.
"MPH, YOH BLAHHY ITHIOH!" She spit out the apple and wiper her mouth viciously while glaring daggers at my laughing form. "You will pay for that!"
"Aw, come on sweetheart. You know you can't hurt me!" I poked my tongue out and Evelina just sent more mental knives flying my way. Hehe.
"Don't," She replied angrily, "Call me sweetheart." James snickered and Scarlette cast a sly look my way. Of course I continued to wear my infamous smirk.
"Guess who's feisty today, boys? Come on Evie, it's just a joke." She rolled her eyes in response.
"Yo, Sirius, where did 'Evie' come from?" I turned to James and just shrugged while a torrent of whispers erupted from Scarlette, Alice, and Lily.
