"Woah hold up Yazz, chill for a sec," Justin quickly stood to his feet in defence.
"Take it Bieber," she scowled Justin, pushing him away, "what happened baby girl?" Her tone changed to soft, caring and comforting.
"Justin and Chase," I hiccuped, fresh tears running down my cheeks.
"I'll explain it to you," Justin interfered.
"Don't fuck with me when my girl is over here crying and mentioned your name," she told him simply then turned back to me, wiping the tears of my cheeks. "Honey, Chase is the past,"
"No, he's here," I tried to compose myself a slight bit but it all just rushed out again. Emotions were swirling inside of me like a magic cauldron full of potions.
"Shitden," she mumbled, "well what's up? Did that son of a bïtch make you cry? I'll get people on him for real Hun if he hurt you again I swear that mf-"
"No, Yazz, he loves me, he apologised and he," I sniffed, "he wants to get back," I wept, "he was so hurt,"
"Don't let him back into your life," Yasmine said bluntly. She grabbed for my hand and rubbed it.
I stared at her through my watery eyes in surprise of her simple answer. "Julia, you have an amazing man standing here at your bedside, promising you the relationship that never worked out, and you're second guessing? Justin's honestly an angel, you guys are meant for each other and we all know that, it's like God made you as a pair," she spoke in such a soft tone I instantly stopped crying.
"I just don't want to be the bad guy who hurts boys, I've had enough of name calling from that basic bitch Sandra," I sat up, still gripping onto her hand.
"You know everything she's ever said is so fucked up, why would you worry, you're onto way better things than she ever will be,"
I nodded.
"Yasmine's right, baby you need to let him go and not interfere with your life, you're doin well," Justin reassured me, sitting next to me on the bed.
"I love you guys," I released my hand from Yasmine's and brought them both into a hug.
"Did I miss something? I was just telling the waitress to bring the left overs up," Ashton barged into my room and stopped in his tracks. "Threesome?" He joked unsure.
"You're a real shit he'd if you think that," Yasmine laughed walking up to him and hugging him.
"I'm glad I'm a shit head then," he embraced her.
"My shit head," she smiled.
"Mhm," he grabbed her ass, making her giggle.
"Please go to your own room fuckers," I smiled, cheeks still rosy from my crying.
"Already gone," Ashton laughed, leaving the room.
"Thanks for literally carrying me upstairs, I'm a mess," I turned to Justin after the door had been shut.
"Always here for you, baby girl," he smiled getting up. "I'm going to have a shower, you rest a bit,"
"Ok baby,"5 minutes after Justin left our room doorbell rang. Ash and Yazz were clearly too busy in the fucking bedroom to realise so naturally I got up to answer it.
Chase was standing at the door, looking more fresh than ever as if the events that happened half an hour ago were a dream. He was carrying around 5 boxes stacked neatly full of our leftovers.
"You requested we should bring it to your room," he said calmly, patiently waiting for me to allow him in.
"Sure," I said, letting him in, knowing this was awkward as fuck.
"I want to talk," he casually said, putting the boxes down and running his fingers through his deep brown hair, emerald eyes fixed on me. Once I looked at him it was hard to take my eyes of him. The face I'd kissed so many times and knew so well.
"I'd love to but, you obviously have work I wouldn't want to keep you," I said politely, hoping that he would just fucking leaaave.
"My shifts done for today, that's why I was outside," he acknowledged, "I just found an excuse to come up here and talk Julia," he admitted.
"Um, Justin's going to be really angry," I warned, trying to make him turn around and go.
"It's ok, I get it, I would be too," he sat down on the cosy, grey couch.
"I just want to be friends, keep in contact,"
"Really?" I looked over at his tired face, really surprised by the words that just came out.
"I'm serious Jules, you're a good person I wouldn't want to end my friendship with you," I flinched when he said my name like that but then I realised everything he was saying was ok.
It was normal.
He just wanted to be friends.
"Ok," I thought it through, "Ok Chase, friends," I smiled weakly, knowing I'll probably never talk to him as lightly as we used to.
"Keep in touch I'm being serious, call or text me whenever," he got back up to his feet and smiled.
"Julia?" Justin called from the bedroom.
"Coming!" I called back, "you better go now," I followed him out and closed the door.
"Who was it?" Justin suddenly appeared half naked with a towel wrapped around his lower half.
"Just a waiter to bring our left overs," I smiled, it wasn't a lie, but it wasn't exactly the full truth either.
"I'm going to sleep, if you need anything wake me ok," he rubbed his forehead and disappeared back into the room.
I stared out into the city view, the buzzing lights flickering below us like a magic show.
