They approached a closed gate with a worn-down sign, warning people that the gate had 10,000 volts charging through it. It was safe to say that was not the case anymore since the gate was covered in vines. She forced the Jeep through the doors on the gate, and both boys started laughing when it actually worked. Dana closed her eyes and took a deep breath to calm herself as a feeling of fear and Déjà vu washed over her.

"I don't like this," she stated quietly, Zach nodded. Almost as soon as Dana had spoke Grey shouted and pointed to the sky. An army of flying dinosaurs appeared in the rear view mirror. "Fuck." Dana hissed, slapping the steering wheel.

Grey hit his hands against Zach's headrest, yelling, "Go, go, go, go!" The Grady girl slammed her foot down on the gas with a loud battle cry.

They were fast approaching the gate, Zach was quick to start waving his arms and yelling at the operators, "Open the gates!" Soon all of them were shouting, "Let us in!" The young man at the gate scrambled to get it open.

Dana let the Jeep skid to a stop, she jumped out of the car before turning wildly at the teenager who opened the gate, "Thomas! The hell, dude, what took so long?!"

The guy in question, Thomas, threw his hands up and rolled his hazel eyes whilst gesturing to the dinosaur filled sky, "There are dinosaurs! In the trucking sky!" Despite the horror of the situation, Dana started to laugh, then Zach laughed, followed by Grey. Thomas continued to look at them with distain. "Go on, Dana, get out of here."

Before the trio could leave, an angry British accented voice yelled out for the boys, "You are in so much trouble! Do you hear me?" Dana turned to look defiantly at the assistant the boys ditched earlier after she'd been tasked with taking care of the boys. "Come on, we've got to find Claire." Zara had a perfectly sculpted eyebrow raised in Zach's direction, Dana slid her hand into Zach's as he stared his babysitter down.

All four of them raced down to Main Street after abandoning the Jeep- despite Dana's colorful protests (she really loved that car)- and were met with the sight of hundreds of pterosaurs attacking the thousands of people in attendance at the park.

"After all this BS is over I'm going back for that Jeep!" She yelled as they ran, Zach laughed and nodded, "You go ahead and do that."

"Don't just stand there!" Zara screamed. To their shock, she was suddenly picked up by a pterosaur and carried high up into the air as they all watched with open mouths. The pterosaur dropped her, but before she could hit the ground, another one grabbed her only to drop her again. She fell a long way before plunging into the giant pool.

"Well, at least she landed in water," Dana thought aloud.

After Zara was carried away by dinosaurs, Dana realized that the island of Isla Nubar was in chaos. Tourists and workers alike ran around screaming, trying to escape the latest escapees. Grey, Zach, and Dana dodged and tried to get to the boys' aunt in all of the crowds of fear.

They ran smartly to avoid a random flight test with a giant bird (dinosuar), they lasted longer than to be expected, until one pterodactyl swooped in and grabbed a hold of a terrified Dana. She squirmed and screamed, trying to drop out of the claws that held her arms. Zach watched in horror as she was taken away.

Trying to think quickly, he reached for a piece of debris, he didn't spare any time to pause and calculate his throw but somehow, he managed to hit the dinosaur in question. Dana dropped ten feet and rolled like a pro. She screamed upon impact to release her stress.

"Dana!" Zach yelled, fighting through the crowd to get to her. "Zach!" The two met in the middle. He cupped her face in his warm hands, she had a few scratches on her flushed face but she seemed fine, "Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you need to cry? Or throw up? Oh god, never scare me like that again." Zach muttered, checking over her a few times, trying to convince himself that she was here, with him.

"You were scared?" She asked in a small voice, he thought about slipping back behind his facade of uncaring teenager but decided to hell with it. He nodded slowly, not looking at her but rather her shoes.

She hummed, "Oh." Her voice was husky now, he found himself getting distracted by how sexy it sounded with the way she drawing her bottom lip between her teeth. He was whipped. He stared at her lips longingly, then back to her wide eyes, and back to her lips.

Dana smiled brightly. It would seem that the world around them stopped, she popped onto her toes and pressed her lips to his. Her hands twisting around his neck and grabbing the dark hair at the back of his neck.

He kissed back quickly, not letting her overtake him, they battled for a few moments before she gave up. Their teeth bumped, and their noses brushed non-too-gently, they shared a similar thought that they wouldn't change it for anything.

It wasn't perfect but it was theirs.

Maybe it was all of the adrenaline that was currently coursing through the veins of Dana, or possibly it's the rush of information and under thinking that comes with almost dying by way of pterodactyl; either way, she's not entirely sure what caused her to take the leap and close the gap between her and the taller boy infront of her.

Zach isn't sure who made the move, for the sake of his pride, he'll tell his friends that he kissed her. In all honesty, he couldn't care less, he was kissing a beautiful girl on a island- an island being attacked by dinosuars, but that's all in the details- and she was actually kissing him back.

The moment was ruined (read: postponed) by Grey's awkward cough. Dana jumped away from Zach like he had the plague when she remembered that her father was present. The two teens turned scarlet, the dino apcolpyse forgotten for now, Dana turned in her father's direction only to stop in her tracks when she caught sight of her father caught in a passionate lip-lock with Claire. Dana smirked and wolf whistled.

Owen's blush matched his daughter's, he coughed, "We need to get to cover." Was his only reply. Dana cackled like a hyena, he flipped her then bird.

The red haired women let her hair fall to create a curtian, she missed the embarrassed look that Claire gave her, and the bright proud smile that graced Grey's boyish face. Her previous liplock partner laced their fingers together before the group took off running to hide from the fleets of flying death pigeons.
