Dallon Weekes posed as cooly as possible while trying to distinguish the correct filter to apply over his face. He looked between several, finally settling on one that made him look a bit tanner than he normally was before snapping the picture.

"That should be Instagram worthy." He said to the empty air around him with satisfaction as he let himself fall careful backwards against his couch, since he still had his soda in hand. His feet kicked against the couch base while he loaded the app and considered captions to go with the photo.

"Doctor Pepper is cool, but the Doctor with bowties is cooler?.." He asked the empty air as he manuvered through the app, "Cool dude Dallon?.. Something cool with no caption?" He pursed his lips as he considered all of his options.

Finally, he decided to simply write, "insert cool caption here" before posting the photo. He sipped at his soda while looking through his freshly updated Instagram page. He had photos going all the way back to 2011, when he first joined, but they were pushed back by many more recent posts. Pictures and videos of Dallon with his new game counsels, Dallon playing golf with his father, and several bored selfies.

He was the son of a wealthy man who came into his fortune not long after Dallon was born. That meant that Dallon grew up very well taken care of. He tried not to flaunt what his family had, but social apps like Instagram and twitter begged him to share his life. Showing bits of it brought in followers of people curious to see more; to experience the sort of glamour that some people could afford to live with, through Dallon.

Dallon set his soda can down on the small side table. He snuggled deeper into the couch and went to check his notifications tab. He had dozens of likes on the newest photo already, as well as several heart eye or the strange laugh crying face. They all seemed to blend together, until Dallon pulled down the refresh tab.

Haha, you're funny

Dallon wasn't caught so much by the comment, but by the face on the icon. He clicked it, hoping for a better view, to be brought to the page of someone called 'Beebo'?

The Beebo guy looked pretty cute in his profile picture. He had light stubble running along his chin and dancing around his large lips. His dark hair was quiffed up, despite his apparent position of lying on a bed. Dallon found his eyes drawn to a small break in his left eyebrow, as if he had been cut or something, but he didn't pay it too much mind as he looked at the rest of this guy's profile.

Dallon read the bio out loud, not making full sense of it. He assumed it to simply be part of his aesthetic as he scrolled, however, because many scenic and nice photos loaded up on the page. The guy was alone in most of his photos, if he appeared at all, with the exception of one that Dallon found after discovering he had scrolled down to the near beginning of the page. It was the Beebo guy with his arm around a guy with brown waved hair and a sort of hippy get-up.

Dallon quickly scrolled back up to the top of the page. His thumb hovered over the back button, but he pulled it back with the biting of his lip. He had really enjoyed this guy's pictures... Maybe he should follow him...

"Dally!"

Dallon's thumb almost instantly diverted down to the home button before he threw his phone across the couch in a panic. He pretended to be rubbing his eye and stretching as a girl with dark, flowing hair stepped into the room.

"Dally? Did you already fall asleep?" The girl asked with a giggle, shaking her head.

"Maybe..." Dallon yawned, sitting himself up a bit straighter. "What's going on, Breezy?"

"Your dad wanted me to come and get you. Our families are having dinner together." She smiled in a way that didn't look the happiest, but was still a smile.

"Oh, okay! Just let me get my shoes! I'm otherwise ready to go." Dallon said, pushing himself up and hurrying to where he kept his shoes.

Breezy nodded as she leaned against the doorway. Her father and Dallon's father were close friends both in and out of the business world. They aren't exactly forcing it, but they are really encouraging a relationship between the two. Friendship came easy for them, but anything further would be a problem.

"I was supposed to go to the movies with Sara tonight..." Breezy sighed, crossing her arms.

"That girl you go to university with?" Dallon questioned from where he was sat on the ground, fighting his shoe.

Breezy hummed with a nod. "Yep. Now I'm going to miss it."

Dallon finished with his shoes and sat himself upright. He tilted his head at Breezy as she looked down at her own shoes. "They still don't know you're bi?"

She shook her head. "They still don't know you're gay?" She asked, looking over at him.

He laughed at the retaliation question. With his family's prestige, the announcement of his differing sexuality was far from casual dinner conversation.

"I'll take that as a no." Breezy said with a sad smile. She pushed herself away from the doorframe and walked across the room before plopping herself down on the floor beside him. She pushed away some of the loose strands of hair that dangled in his face, "What are we going to do when they expect a proposal?"

Dallon shrugged, "I can only hope it somehow comes up before then." He chuckled, lightly, leaning his forehead against hers.

She laughed back, smiling at him. "We're a mess..."

"Yea, but we'll eventually be picked up." He said.

Breezy reached out her arms and hid her face in Dallon's shoulder. She hugged him tightly while letting out a soft sigh. Dallon hugged her back and the two fell into silence. They stayed like that for awhile, until Breezy spoke up softly.

"They'll be expecting us."

Dallon sighed with a nod. "Yea... Your car or mine?"

Breezy pulled away from the hug with a look of excitement on her face. "I just got mine painted! It's a dark purple, so I can find it slightly easier at stores now." She booped Dallon's nose, "I'll drive."

"Alright." Dallon laughed as he rose to his feet. He extended his hands to help her up right after. "Just let me grab my phone and I'll be right behind you."

"Gotchya, Dally." She smiled with a nod before turning to leave the room.

Dallon moved in the opposite direction, hurrying towards the couch. He picked his phone up from one of the cushions just as it vibrated softly. Dallon lit up the screen with curiosity, finding that the Beebo guy had followed him on Instagram.

A laugh escaped Dallon's lips before he tapped the notification. It was the guy alright. That guy had called him funny, and followed him? He must be doing something right.

"Dally! My dad's already calling!"

"Coming!" Dallon hollered. He quickly hit the follow button on the guy's account before exiting the app and pocketing his phone.
