"So tell me everything! Was he nice? Were you nervous? Tell me everything!" Breezy whisper yelled across the computer screen. She was laying on a bed, facing the computer, wrapped in a thick quilt. She had a headphone and mic set on her head as she eagerly awaited an answer.

It was later in the day, with the sun setting into darkness outside. Dallon had gotten the chat request from Breezy as soon as he relayed to her that he was home from other work he had done throughout the day after his meeting with Brendon.

Dallon laughed as he spun around in his swivel chair. He grabbed hold of the desk to stop the spin and face  the screen with a smile. "He was very nice, Breeze." Dallon said with a grin, "He bought me a coffee, we talked for a bit, it was nice."

Breezy squealed with excitement, covering her mouth with her fists. She moved them away to say something, but her head was drawn to something off screen.

"What is it?" Dallon asked as he began to swing his chair from side to side.

"Hmmm? Oh!" Breezy snapped her head back to Dallon, "Sorry, Dally, Sara is watching the news and they're reporting a double homicide in the area." Breezy replied in a distracted tone.

"Bad?" Dallon asked.

She nodded. "Bad," She confirmed, "they won't even go into detail."

"We live in LA, a murder like that had to happen eventually." Dallon said as he looked over at his silenced phone. An unknown number was trying to call through, but Dallon chose to ignore it. He looked back at his laptop screen to see Breezy talking to Sara, who was off screen. "Details?"

Sara leaned into Breezy's microphone. "Killer left a note." She said before exiting the screen frame.

"Serial killer?" Dallon questioned, watching his phone screen go dark.

"That makes me nervous." Breezy said, softly.

"You're not gunna be next, Breeze." Dallon assured her with a smile, "This isn't some horror movie."

"Still." Breezy frowned. She shivered, "Just tell me more about the guy you met today."

"Brendon? He's nice, like I said, but he had to leave what felt like so fast..." Dallon scratched the back of his head. His tone became a bit daydream like as he thought back to relay information to his friend, "He likes art... He had a beautiful way of describing it..."

"Aww, Dally's got a crush!" Breezy grinned, "How cute!"

Dallon felt his cheeks heat up. "We've only met once, and it got cut short."

"Well, the only reason I met Sara is because I needed a pencil for a test and she gave me her rainbow one. I knew we had something from that moment on."

"I should of given you the sparkly one to match your personality." Dallon could hear Sara tease from off camera. Breezy covered her microphone to shoot something back before turning back to Dallon.

"True love." She said with the roll of her eyes.

"Must be." Dallon teased as Sara cut into frame to kiss Breezy, "I'll call you back some other time."

Breezy gave a thumbs up before reaching up to close the laptop. Dallon closed the video chat window with a soft chuckle. He wiggled his mouse aimlessly on the screen, unsure what else to do.

His phone made a soft 'ping', indicating a notification. He scooped the device into his hand and checked it.

Sorry for running out earlier, they pushed up a meeting for one of my art exhibits

Dallon read the message quickly, but had to double take on it. An art exhibit? Brendon had his own art exhibit!?

That's okay. I didn't know you had an art exhibit! That's so cool!

Dallon looked up at his computer. If he knew Brendon's last name, he could look it up, or maybe even find some of his artwork. He was pulled from those plans by another soft 'ping'.

It wasn't a sure thing yet, so I didn't want to mention it. I did get confirmed though! I'd love for you to come check it out some time.

Dallon's eyes widened at the offer. He must of made a good first impression, despite his nerves.

When? I'd love to see your interpretation of art

Dallon hardly had to wait for a reply.

Not yet! I still need to finalize... How about that second meeting, though? I can show you my studio

Dallon looked back up at his dimming computer screen. He wished Breezy was still there to encourage him, but she was probably very preoccupied at the moment. His brain was telling him to go and say yes, but his gut held him back. Wasn't this too fast? I mean, he went over to Josh's place pretty soon after their first day of being together... But, that was highschool...

Dallon bit his lip. It couldn't hurt. It wasn't even his house; it was his studio.

That sounds cool! When can I come over?
