The Lodge

Chapter 1

Skye's POV

We just got back from the camping trip and I've had this one thing on my mind the whole time. Who do I like? I mean I just got Ben to work at the lodge again but Sean is really sweet and he likes me. Ugh I wish I could just make up my mind! It feels like I'm tearing up their friendship! All of a sudden there's a knock at the door...

"Who is it?" I ask.

"Sean, can I come in?"

"I guess" I say sarcastically.

Sean opens the door walks in and sit on my bed next to me.

"I had a great time this weekend. The camping trip was so much fun!" Sean says

" I had a great time also. But there's been something on my mind lately, do you think we could take a walk and talk about it?" I ask

"Of course!" He says reassuringly.

We get up, put on our jackets and walk out the door. We start walking down this trail through the woods. It's such a beautiful view. I absolutely love it out here!

After a moment Sean begins to say, "so what's been on your mind?" As he nudged my arm which sends chills up my spine.

"Well, my friend Sarah lets say, has these two boys in her life that like her. They are both sweet and caring but she doesn't know which guy to choose. Of course the boys are best friends so she doesn't want to come between them but she's afraid she already has. And now she feels obligated to chose but their both her friends. She asked me for advice and now I'm asking you for advice." I say hoping he doesn't catch on to the fact that I'm Sarah.

Sean took a moment but then said "Well first of all, this Sarah gal sounds like a real nice, smart, and beautiful girl-"

"I never said anything about her personality or appearance!" I cut in laughing.

"I'm just assuming! Anyways I think that she should listen to her heart and decide. Because I know that her two friends are mature enough to not let something like this get between them. At least I hope they are! But if I had to chose I would chose the tall handsome one with blue eyes and a perfect smile." He joked.

" Noted! I'll make sure and give her the information!" I laughed.

We talked for a long time and then we realized it was getting late.

"Should we start heading back?" Sean asked.

"Not yet.... I wanna take you somewhere." I said while grabbing his hand and leading him down a path.

Sorry if this wasn't a good chapter. I'm new at this and I'm just trying things out.
