Chapter 8

Skye's POV

It's been a whole month since Kaylee left and she's been too busy to come out to see all of us. So this weekend she promised that she would come out! Since she's coming out I decided I wanted to put something on for our friends to make her visit special. Sean walks up to me at the front desk.

"Hey babe!" He says with a smile plastered across his face.

"Hey!" I say giving him a quick kiss. "I just had the best idea! Wanna hear?" I ask.

"Yes!" He says.

"Ok I was thinking that since Kaylee is coming out this weekend we should put on a movie night just for our friends! We can set up a projector outside and watch movies all night long!" I exclaim.

"You are brilliant Skye! I'll go let the others know so we can get it set up before she gets here!" He says heading out the door.

"You forgot something!" I yell.

"Oh yes!"he says coming back in. "There!" He says after kissing me.

"See you later babe!" I say. I'm so excited for this movie night! It's gonna be so much fun! I'll go get some candy, soda, movies and popcorn!

Noah's POV

Kaylee is coming home today and I'm so happy! I haven't seen her in person for a month! I mean we've talked on the phone and Facetimed a couple times but still I miss seeing her everyday! My thought were interrupted by Sean. "Hey Sean! What's up?" I ask.

"Hey Noah! Skye just had this great idea! We're gonna put on a movie night just for our friends to make Kaylees visit special!! We were gonna start setting up now wanna help?" He said.

"Wow that sounds like so much fun! Yes what can I help with?" I ask.

"Well could you let Ben and Danielle  know while I set up the sheet and projector?" He asked

"Of course!" I say.

"Thanks! See ya in a little!" He says.

Skye's POV

I got home from the store just in time to see everyone working hard to get the movie night set up. I walk over to the table and start putting the candy and soda out and the popcorn in dishes. After that I set the movies out on a table so we can choose later on. Then I walk over to help Ben string up lights. "Hey Ben!" I say.

"Oh hey Skye! Can we talk real quick?" He asks.

"Sure!" I say back.

We keep working and Ben begins to speak, "I know I've been a little distant lately but I'm just trying to get used to you being with Sean. And trust me I am happy for you! And I'm not mad anymore! It might still be a little hard but I'm ready to hang out again! I hope you can forgive me for being so rude." He says.

"Of course I can Ben! I'm just glad to have you back!" I say happy to hear the news.

~Time Skip~

Finally we have all of the stuff set up and we're just wait g for the guest of honor to show up! I can see that Noah is super excited! He's missed he so much and i know it's been hard on him with the long distance thing. After about an hour of waiting we see a car pull up around front. I tell everyone to get down and unplug the lights. I run around front, give her a quick hug, then blindfold her.

"Um Skye I'm happy to see you and all but I'm not sure this is how you greet people. Where are we going?" She asks.

"Just wait!" I say chipper. I lead her down the gravel path towards the back of the lodge. When we get there I take off her blindfold and the lights turn on with everyone jumping up yelling "SURPRISE!" A huge smile spread across Kaylee's face as she went around to hug everyone. She finally got to Noah and at first they just stood there and looked at each other, then Noah quickly leaned in a kissed her. We all cheered and we're happy to see them together finally! After all of the greetings we all lay down on the grass and start to watch movies.

I look up at Sean who has his arms around me. He's so handsome and he makes me so happy! I think to myself. "Ben told me he was ready to start hanging out with us again." I whisper to Sean.

"That's great!" He whispers back. 

We ended up watching a lot of Disney movies all through the night. But about half way through the night I fell asleep while cuddling with Sean and just remember waking up to see the sun rising as we all lay there spread out on the grass. It was a great way to start our weekend with Kaylee!
