I closed my bedroom door, and listened to her run down the hall, back to her room. After standing at the door for a few seconds, I climbed into my bed with a sigh, not sure what to do anymore. What was going on here? Why was everything going so strangely now? I knew it had something to do with Khristi, but I didn't know what was so different about her.

I grabbed my pillow and tossed it across the room, frustrated. First it was Suho's door reacting to her, then my key. What next? Is she going to be able to control fire or something? I laughed to myself at the thought of her having an ability. If anything, it would be the power of awkwardness. She was so weird it was kind of cute.

Shaking the thought from my head, I quickly retrieved my pillow, finding that I had thrown it a little too hard, feathers threatening to spill out of tear in the casing. I quickly fixed the pillow, then returned to my bed, climbing under the blanket, wanting just to fall asleep.

Unfortunately, my mind had other plans, and it was too busy, filled with painful thoughts of the past and all the questions I still had never found answers to. I let out an annoyed groan, then pressed my pillow over my face. Couldn't I just forget about everything?

As I laid there, I found myself thinking about LiYu and Khristi. I was contemplating what to do. LiYu had died because I let her get close to me. Should I take the chance and get to know Khristi? I mean, she already has found my key and stood right in front of me with it in her hands. That's more than I can say for LiYu. I had lost control with her, but not Khristi...

Maybe I wouldn't have to worry about hurting Khristi. She had no effect when she had my key, and I already knew I liked her. Should I take the chance? And what about Suho? They seemed to be pretty close...do they like each other?

As my mind ran rampant, a sweet yet metallic smell reached my nose, and I sat up. The smell was familiar, which scared me. It was blood.

Then I heard Khristi scream from the back yard, and I jumped out of bed, running as fast as I could, down the stairs and out the back door to the pool. I saw Suho standing there, frozen with fear, blood dripping from his mouth as he stared at the pool. I followed his gaze, and red ribbons of blood caught my attention. Khristi.

The rest of the guys having arrived as well, and some were asking what was going on when I dived into the pool. My heart sank when I saw her slowly sinking to the bottom, her blood dissipating into the water. Her eyes met mine, but it was as if she was looking right through me.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards me, then swam back to the surface, hoisting her up for Kyungsoo and Xiumin to pull her out and lay her beside he pool. I quickly climbed out and moved to her side.

"What the hell is wrong with you!" Kai yelled at Suho, who was still standing there frozen, his glowing blue eyes not leaving Khristi's unmoving body.

"Is she dead?" Lay asked, covering his nose, the sent of blood a little too much for him. "I can't hear a heart beat."

As they were panicking, all I could think about was the last time someone died in front of me. I could see how much Khristi resembled LiYu, and the blood only made the situation that much more similar.

"What do we do? She's losing too much blood." Chanyeol asked, and everyone looked around at one another. We all knew what had to happen, but no one had enough self control to do it.
