Erik's POVMe: Where are we going?
Javen: I am taking you on a date! He said grinning ear to ear.
Me: Who said I agreed to this?
Javen: I did.
Javen: Do you not want to?
Me: Now I never said that. I said while smiling.
Me: So where are we going on this date?
Javen: We are going to my secret hiding spot where I like to write songs.
Me: You like to write songs?
Javen: Yes I do.
Me: I love that!We walked for a couple more miles and ended up on the outskirts of the woods. Javen looked at me and said,"Are you scared?" A little. "Don't worry, you'll be fine, I come here all the time, he replied.
We walked into the deep woods, the sticks crunching beneath our feet from the weight of our bodies.
After a little while we came to a cliff that had what looked like a bunch of footholds where someone had obviously been climbing it. Javen began to climb, I followed close behind.
At the top you could see over the giant river that ran though our town.
Me: Wow, it's amazing up here.
Javen: Yeah and quite, your the first person I've ever taken up here.
Me: Wow, thanks I'm truly honored. I said while looking into his deep green eyes.
Javen: Here sit. He said as he walked over to the edge and let his legs dangle.
•••Javen's POV
Erik was the cutest, I hope he shares some of his life with me. Right now he's a mystery.
Me: Tell me about your life, your actual life. I can tell your lying when you talk about it because you bite your top lip.
Erik: Umm I don't know if I can do that, I've only known you for two days.
Me: Yeah but can you not trust me?
Erik: I don't know.
I turned away and looked past the cliff to the river watching it slither through the city. I feel bad that he can't tell me everything, I want to get him to trust me. I need to dig deeper, this might take awhile.
Me: Call your dad again and ask him if you can sleep over again. I said handing him my phone.
Erik: Ok.
He took the phone out of my hand and walked away. I didn't want to pester him so I didn't follow. Although it puzzled me why every time I let him call his dad he walked away.
He came back. "What did he say?" I asked suspiciously.
He said yes.
It also puzzled me why his dad always said yes.Me: We should head home, it's getting boring.
Erik laughed at that remark.
We walked back to my car and got in. I started the heater as it had begun to get cold outside. I started the car and pulled into the road.
Me: So I have to show you someplace else but we have to go tonight.
Erik: You mean like sneak out. He said eying my knowingly.
Me: Yes, I mean sneak out.
Erik: You're being serious?
Me: Yes.
Erik: Ok.The rest of the car ride was silent.
Sorry guys that this chapter was kinda short I was to impatient and had to post it. I just like writing what comes to my head so sorry if it sucks. It will get juicy further along in the story. Enjoy!😀
