Erik's POV
Poor Javen, you could tell he was scared. I held his hand tight trying to calm his nerves.
A few minutes later the boat stopped. I looked over the edge of the boat and out onto the endless ocean. Under the water there was a maze of colors, it was so clear you could see all the fish swimming in and out the rainbow coral. "Ready?" said the man driving the boat and that was going to teach us how to dive. "Yes," I replied looking over at Javen. He was pale as a ghost and looked like he was going to throw up. My guess was right. He leaned over the edge of the boat and puked his breakfast into the ocean.
Erik: Oh my gosh, Javen. Here let's go back to land, we don't have to do this.
Javen: I'm sorry Erik, I thought I could do it. I'm just so scared.
Erik: It's fine I don't care, we still have a lot of places we can go.
I turned to the boat directer and told him to take us back. When we got back we changed back into our clothes we wore there and started off to the next location which was the Sydney Oprah House. We hailed a cab and went straight there. We didn't get to go in but we stayed there for at least two hours and took pictures and read about it. It was truly beautiful.
It was then 3:00 in the afternoon and we only had a few places to go. We would go to play mini-golf then eat dinner. After that, Javen was going to take me somewhere special. I didn't know where yet though, it was a surprise.•••
Mini-golf was fun, we had a blast. Javen beat me though, he scored a 74 and I scored a 81. The levels were really cool as well, there was even a water fall and river that flowed all throughout the course.
Next we went to dinner. The sun was setting by this time and it was beautiful. We went to eat seafood, sitting outside the restaurant. The view was amazing, it looked over the ocean. It was even more beautiful since the sun was setting. I took so many pictures I barely had time to eat.
While we were eating we talked about small things, playing 21 questions at one point, it was super fun. I ate lobster and shrimp with some macaroni. It was delicious. Javen got the same except with mashed potatoes instead of macaroni. We both ordered sweet tea to drink. It was amazing, everything about it.
Then it was night, about 8:30. Javen said he wanted to take me one last place.•••
Javen's POV
I wanted to take Erik somewhere special. I didn't exactly know where but then I figured it out. There was this really pretty inclosed museum with a bunch of animals in it. Inside you could go into this open cage jungle kinda thing and have a picnic in there all to yourselves. Kind of like an indoor forest. We took a cab over there. Before we walked in I blindfolded him so he didn't get any hints.
I went around the cab to the trunk and pulled out the rope wrapped picnic basket. If included many small foods since we did just eat dinner. It mostly contained small deserts such as chocolate covered strawberries and Oreo cookies, those were his favorite.
After I got the basket I grabbed his frail hand and pulled him along into the building. "Where are we going?" You'll see sweetie.
We stepped into the giant fake forest and I guided him up the trail, him still blindfolded. They had made a fake cliff that you could lay all your stuff on. They also added the cute touch of putting glass along the wall so you could see the actual city.
Javen: Ok, are you ready?
Erik: Yes! Please don't let it be scary.
Javen: Don't worry it's not.
I then reached around his head and untied the knot of the blindfold letting it fall off his face and into my hands. He looked around for a second stunned then hugged me.
Erik: Oh my god Javen this is beautiful! Thank you so much.
Javen: No problem.
Then I kissed him on the cheek and took a seat on the blanket I had lied on the ground. I motioned for him to take a seat next to me so he did. I opened up the picnic basket and asked if he liked chocolate strawberries. He said yes so I fed him one, the chocolate crumbled all over his torso. Oh sorry, I'll clean it up. I grabbed the small chunks from off his lap and placed them back in the container.
Erik: Ha ha, thanks.
Javen: You gotta watch those things, they're messy.
Erik: Yeah I can see.
Javen: I also got Oreos if you want some of those.
Erik: Of course I want some of those.
I handed him three and he ushered for more. I gave him two more and he ate them up. He had left over crumbs on his lip so I reached over and wiped them off. He laughed and smiled at me. Then he stopped, we stared into each other's eyes for a second, then I began to lean in. I stopped inches from his face because he wasn't leaning in to, I didn't think he wanted to kiss me. I was about to pull back when he closed the space between us pushing his lips to mine. They were soft, and they fit perfectly with mine. The kiss was sweet and innocent and then turned more aggressive, me slipping my tongue into his mouth, he returned his back. I pushed his body back onto the ground and held his hands down. I pulled away for a second.
Javen: Sorry, I didn't mean to take over, are you sure you want to do this?
Erik: Yes, but not here, let's go back to the hotel.
Javen: Ok.
