I was sitting in the kitchen eating with Kyle, when CayLynn came down. She had one of the children in her arms, with a bottle in it's mouth. I think it was Tavious. How the hell they can tell them apart is beyond me. I still have hard time. In time, I will learn. At least I hope.
"Keeping you up?" I asked.
"Yeah. Tavious loves to eat. He takes after his father. Boy help me." she chuckled. She looked beyond exhausted. I stood up, walking over to her by the counter.
"Here. I got him." I told her, taking Tavious from her arms along with the bottle. I started feeding him. He was very happy with that. "Go back to bed. You look so damn exhausted." she smiled, giving me a one arm hug, kissing her son on the head. She walked over to the table, stopping next to Kyle.
"It's really nice having you here. Hope you stick around." she told him. She patted him on the shoulder and was gone. Poor girl. I know this can't be easy at her age. She is still so young. My guess is this: Byron forgot to wrap! Dumbass!
"I like her. She is so nice." Kyle said, looking at me.
"She is." I agreed.
"She said for along time though, you all were mean to her?" he made it more like a question.
"Yeah, and trust me, we feel like shit because of it. But she isn't one to hold grudges." I told him. He smiled, getting up from his car, then walking over to me. He got to my side and looked at Tavious. He was in awe with the little guy. Hell, so was I. "Want to hold him?"
"Sure." he muttered. I passed Tavious into Kyle's arms. He held Tavious close and gave him his bottle back. Again, the little guy was happy. Wow, he is like his father. Those two will everyone out of a house before we know it. This baby is going to grow up big and strong.
"Wow, I think someone really likes you." I smiled. He looked up at me smiling.
"Yeah, I think you're right." he agreed. He set the bottle down and began burping the little fella. Next thing I know Tavious let's a long loud one rip. The both of stare at him wide eyed. He smiled happily at us, like he accomplished something big. Which in his case, I believe he did. Yep, he is his father's son.
I heard a noise coming from upstairs. I walked out of the kitchen, to the base of the steps to hear babies crying. A lot of babies crying. Soon, the house was alive with people grabbing babies and bottles to feed them. Now, this is a sight, Kyle stood next to me with Tavious in his arms, fast asleep. Well, don't have to worry about him at all.
Everyone had a baby to feed, including Kyle and I. I had Leeann in arms and she was holding onto the bottle like it was her life. Wow, she is strong.
It was noon and everyone was outside sitting back, having a good time. All the ladies sat in a circle with the babies, the guys playing football and myself, I was sitting with Kyle talking with Roman and Tallis.
"So, Kyle, I seen you with a lot of the babies. You seem to be good at calming them down." Tallis acknowledged. Kyle blushed nodding his head.
"Yeah, mom and dad after they had me, they decided to have twelve more. All girls too." he told us. We looked at him wide eyed. Others around us stopped what they were doing, staring at him wide eyed.
"Damn! That's a lot of kids!" Roman choked out.
"A lot of girls too!" Tallis said. "Wow!"
"Yeah I know." Kyle chuckled.
"Being the only boy has to suck." Roman shook his head.
"Nah, it doesn't bother me. Hell, I get along great with my sisters. They always come to me about things." he said, smiling.
