One Month Later

We are currently on the line with Zen, him giving us information about my aunt and uncle. He said they left a couple weeks ago, sneaking out under their radar. From what Zen is telling us, is that it was a shift switch and the guys who were suppose to show up never did because of rouges. So we aren't mad about that. The pack has to be taken care of first.

"Think there is anyway to track them?" Jerry asked, rubbing a hand down his face.

"I sent a few men out to do so. If they find anything, I told them to call you since they may be headed that way. But who knows where they're truly going. Only time will tell," Zen sighed into the phone.

"Yeah, we just need to keep an eye out for them. I have put up extra patrols. Since we have vampires here, it helps a lot there. Been sending out two were's and two vamps," Jerry explained. That was the idea for this. It's been working too.

"That's a very good plan. Good to see everyone getting together on this," Zen said.

"Yeah I know. It helps a lot," Jerry agreed. I sat back in my chair. Stella sat next to me, pissed that they got away, but she said she knew Zen had done everything he could to keep an eye on them. Everyone is actually cool with my relationships with both Stella and Kyle. I thought they would think I was out of my mine.

"Alright Zen, we'll be in touch and let you know what is going on. If by any weird chance they make their way back to your city, let me know," Jerry stated.

"I will brother. Talk to you soon, bye," Zen said.

"Bye," and Jerry hung up with Zen. Jerry sat back in his seat. I feel so bad that he has this stress.

"What's wrong Trevor?" I heard By ask me. Looking at him, I just sighed.

"If it wasn't for me, none of this would be going on. I know it's causing a lot of stress," I stated, looking down at the table.

"Son, how many times do I have to tell you? This here is a family and you've always been apart of it. You're another son to me and I won't have my children messed with. That's how your parents  were with Byron and Axe too as well as Jayce and Roman," Jerry looked at me as I looked at him.

"I know but they're my crazy family. You shouldn't have to deal with this stress," I pointed out.

"Son, they've been after all of us. When they weren't trying to attack your parents they were after my pack or Roman's fathers pack. They know we won't let anything happen to our children. No hush about it," Jerry sternly told me. I just nodded my head. I sat back hoping that they wouldn’t come this way. I don’t want a fight coming here with everyone’s kids around and possibly getting hurt.

I went to my car, getting in. Stella asked if I could go to the drug store for her. Apparently she wants munchies. That's how she put. Opening the door I slid into the driver's seat. I put the key in the ignition and started it. Putting it into drive I headed down the driveway. Turning right onto the road I headed into town to get Stella her munchies.

Ten minutes later I pulled into the parking lot, parking as close as to the door as possible. Sometimes I'm lazy and don't want to walk so far. I cut the car off, opened the door getting out. I saw some people walking into the store. I followed not far behind them.

I went to the candy isle, looking around to see what I could get her. Hell she never told me what she wanted, come to think of it. I pulled out my phone, and scrolled to my contacts till I reached her number. I pressed send, then put the phone to my ear. She answered on the second ring.

"Hey baby, what's up?" she asked me.

"Nothing. At the store but I don't know what you want," I told her.
