Chapter Seven

I sat at the table in the bar, listening to Zen talk. He was pissed that Roseline and Thane where in his territory. Since vamps and were-animals have a peace treaty, he normally wouldn't mine but these two he is disgusted with. Well a lot of people are. 

"So, we will help keep an eye out for them. What are you going to tell Trevor and them?" Zen asked looking at me.

"The truth. What else can I say or do? Yeah, I know it was weird stalking him, but I had to make sure he was ok. I mean I love him. I got band because I wouldn't marry the Prince of Angels. Then again, even if i wasn't in love with Trevor, I still wouldn't have married the jackass." I told him shrugging. He nodded his head.

"Alright you have any problems, tell them to call me. I can verify everything. Some of my people have spotted them here." he leaned back stretching. I smiled, grateful for his help. Now I head back to South Dakota. Marissa was staying here to keep tab on their every move. They are dumb for coming here. 

We bid our farewells to everyone. I told Zen I would be in contact with him, when I got to South Dakota. Jack said he would come with me, to help explain. I hope this all works out, because I would hate for Trevor to be pissed at me, thinking I am out to get him, when in fact it's totally the opposite.

We left the bar walking to my car. Jack asked for me to drive for awhile. It was going to be a long travel to get back to South Dakota from here. Marissa followed me out.

"You be careful girl. I don't want to have to kick some royalty ass, but I will do it, without hesitation too." she growled. I believed her too. She would. She can be so mean when she wants to be.

"I'll be alright. I got Jack with me." I told her grinning. Crazy ass girl. She hugged me, then Jack. We got in my car and pulled away from the bar, to start our long drive. This is going to be. Jack gets antsy when we have to drive for along time. He gets to be, well annoying. But I love him. That's what makes him seem so childlike. Plus, it's entertaining as hell for me.

We hit interstate 55 an hour later. With me driving we will be there in less than twenty-three hours. More like, oh I would say, fifteen. I am a manic of a driver and that's why Jack normally drives. According to him my driving WILL be the death of him, since now we can die a lot easier. I know as soon as we hit Jackson, Mississippi, he will want to take over. So, that's the way I headed.

I was walking around the mall with Kyle, Nico, Claudia and the others. We decided to go out, but this time we had the kids with us. Did not want to leave them with the parents again. It was't bad, since there was a lot of us. Kyle and I had Denny. Byron and Cay had Tavious. Tallis, Jay and Axe, yeah he is here with us, had Blaine. Roman and Zel had Cayden. It worked out great, actually.

Kyle was holding Denny. She loves him. She is just giggling at all the faces he makes at her. We were in Game Stop, looking around. We needed new Xbox controllers, since we wore the other ones out. Yes, that is how much we like to play. Well, until Byron gets called to help with the babies. He is so whipped it funny. It kills me too.

I saw a clear controller and grabbed it. We all get our own, so there is no fighting over them. Trust me when I say, that has happened. Afterwards we are called Cavemen by everyone. So, this just makes it easier and stops us from being called that again. Ellie had banned us from gaming. She lectured us for hours, about how fighting over a controller is childish and unacceptable. Of course our dad's stood there laughing at us. Then they got lectured, so it was our turn to laugh.

"Hey man, got your controller?" Byron called to me. I looked at him, holding it up to show him.

"Hell yeah man! Don't need another crazy lecture." I grinned. He laughed, until Cay elbowed him. He looked like a five year old getting yelled at for being caught after stealing a cookie. That had me laughing, until I felt an elbow. I stopped and looked at Kyle.
