Chapter 9 [Chara?]

     Sorry for really late update

Ink stood up from the ground and walked over to you and V. You faced him as your expression turned into confusion. "Something up?" You asked while standing up. Ink nodded. "Didn't we need to go back to Cross? We said that we'll be back quick." Ink stated as you stood up. "Righttttttt." You said while you squinted your eyes while continuing to hold your word. V snickered, as she placed a hand to cover her nose and mouth. "I'm sorry! I-It's just your fac-" "I'm done." You said as you and Ink walked into a portal before V could continue her sentence. "W-Wait-" She interrupted her own sentence by laughing her ass off. "Bruh, whats tickling yo toes?" Fresh asked. "N-Nothing!" V yelled out an answer and continued laughing.

You stepped into the white void as Ink did as well. "Ink, what was that about?" You asked facing him. "U-Um.. an old friend!" Ink answered as he sweat dropped and held up his hands up in surrender. "Hm." You hummed in response as your eyes searched for the skeleton who was waiting. You saw Cross, just curled up into a ball. You walked up to him, and crouched to his level. "You okay?" You asked. Cross looked at you, you can tell something's not right. "Ink! Cross needs a taco!" You yelled. Ink ran out to cross and quickly pulled out his sketch book and quickly drew a taco then sat down next you all three of you in a circle. Cross peeked his head up from the word 'taco' as he intently stared at Ink, slightly drooling.

"Here you go , buddy!" Ink said as he placed the taco in front of Cross. You blinked as you saw the taco gone from it's plate. "Wha-" you turned towards Cross as you saw him stuffing the taco in his mouth. You looked at him in slight discomfort, but managed to keep the smile. "How X-traordinary can he be?" Ink asked, as you laughed slightly as his joke. "Noooo clue." You replied.

"Sooooo." You broke the silence. You stared at the floor stacked with dishes with crumbs on it. You looked at Ink and Cross then back at Cross. Your smile turned into a grin instead, and feeling nervous by a numerous tacos he ate. "Um.. You okay?" You asked, slightly concerned. He didn't respond, but groaned instead. "I feel fat." He said suddenly. You quirked a brow and smirked slightly. "But skeletons don't have stomachs." You said. Ink snickered. "Why now??" Ink asked to his self. You shrugged at his own question. "So. What's been bugging you. Ever since we reunited, cross. I sense that your not alone." You pointed out. "I sensed someone with you when we left. They whispered in you ear, and I could slightly hear it." Ink gave Cross an intense stare, waiting for him to answer.

Cross looked away but clutched his stomach for the pain to go away. "I-I um.." he was speechless as you sensed a voice answering the question for Cross. "Well, I don't feel well since-" "Since you ate tacos." You answered him. "I heard the voice." Cross stiffened. "Tell me who this person is." You demanded slightly. Cross sighed in defeat. "Fine." He closed his eye sockets "There is a kiddo in my presence. I am not alone, but two of company." He stopped as he reopened his eye sockets and stared at you. "(Y/N), ever since our Universe was troubled, Do you remember the kid that...." Your eyes widen and nodded. Ink sat closer, waiting for Cross to continue. "That kid came along with me... the whole time." You felt anger flow through you but remained calm.

"Before Ink found you, he found me first. Ink kept me company throughout the days and kept me entertained." Cross sighed. "I was attacked." You felt the atmosphere getting darker. "Error... stole my soul but Ink was lost in time." Cross sighed and stood up. he tried to walk away but you quickly stood up as well and caught his bony arm. "Wait." Cross ignored you as he tugged his arm away. "The kid, Do you mean... Chara?" You asked. Ink stood up as he walked next to you. Cross nodded and clenched his hand. Cross looked back with a glare at you as you felt a wave of memories hit you. Cross gave Chara that stare before before they came into one. You saw a shadowy figure standing behind Cross as you intently stared at the child.

"Chara?"
