My father gave me this funny look. You know, that kind of look that gives you the feeling they'll say no. But this time, it was a different answer. "I don't know Rachel. It's a lot of work, and it's your birthday. Surely you don't want to be camping on your birthday Rachel?" I shook my head and put on my most pleasing voice."PLEASSEE DAD!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL THE HOLIDAYS!" Father glanced upstairs. He smiled. "I suppose a little break won't hurt." I grinned. Finally, something interesting in my life! I raced to my room and threw open the cupboard where I kept my clothes. I packed shorts, T-shirts, shoes, all the clothes I needed. I secretly packed my pocket knife. I didn't know why, I just did.

Downstairs, I heard dad shuffling in the kitchen. Mum was awake by now, and was just as pleased to go camping as I was. I walked down stairs, with wearing denim shorts, a yellow T-shirt, black converses and a sky blue cap. My strawberry - blonde hair was tied into a fishtail and my blue eyes sparkled with excitement. I can't wait to go camping! After breakfast, mum and dad packed. We loaded the car, when finally mum said "Where are we going?" I jumped up and down on the spot. "Cobble and Co National Park!!!" Father smiled. We got into the car, and began the long drive to the campsite. Once again, I thought I heard a moan... Turn back..... Turn back... I ignored it.... If only I knew what the future held.

Stay tuned for part 4! I hope you guys are enjoying this story! I probably will edit part 2 so it's longer. Thanks for reading!
