Did she know what I was going to ask? "Excuse me" I looked for the right words. " I was wondering if-" The woman went rigid. Had I offended her? She was taking quick breaths. Was she having a heart attack!? Then I realised. She was laughing! "You sure aren't like those other youngsters." The woman said. "Martha" the woman informed, holding out her hand. I smiled. "Ask?" I was so confused. "You knew I was going to ask about the -" Martha nodded. "No one knows about the billabong. But, if you listen, to the wind, the land, you can uncover many secrets." I was sorta creeped out. It was obvious that this was something you wouldn't hear everyday. "Come" Martha beckoned. Again, I hesitated. I didn't even know this person. Should I follow her. Martha didn't wait. She began to make her way down the hill where the reception sat. Not wanting to be left behind, I followed.
