Adopted By Him..

Part 5

'Dude,' I mouthed to Gee. 'What the hell?'

What did this guy do to this innocent girl while no-one was around? 

Gee knitted his eyebrows together, and scrunched up his nose. He was clearly angry, but didn't show it. He dropped his head to the floor, and with that action, I swiftly walked around him, accidentally shoving him, and into my room, softly closing the door

*5:15pm*

"Bandit! Alice!" I head someone shout. "Dinners ready!" Since Bandit wasn't awake, I lightly shook her.

"Alright," she snaps. "I'm awake!"

"Come on. Dinners ready." She groaned loudly, before peeling herself off my torso, and jumping onto the floor. I stood up, and made my way to the door, Bandit snaking her arms around my stomach, sticking to my side.

We both slowly made our way down the hallway, and to the kitchen. I peeled myself from Bandit's grip and sat down, but she jumped up on my lap, sticking herself to me again. It was very clear, she was scared to be around the adults of the house. Lyn, who was sat to the right of me, wasn't bothered, she just warmly smiled at me, but Gee noticed, as his eyes we're narrowed, his gaze burning a hole through my head.

I turn my head to the right and asked Lyn if she could give me Bandits plate. She nodded her head, and passed me Bandits plate. Bandit was sat on my right knee, so her plate was inbetween me and Lyn's plates. Me, Bandit and Lyn ate pretty quietly, excusing the odd slop from Bandit, but Gee ate disgustingly loud and sloppily, as if he was trying to get our attention.

"Alice," Gee said out of nowhere. "You're starting school on Monday."

I almost choked on my food, surprised at his sudden comment. "What?!"

"You heard, you're starting school on Mo-.."

"Okay, okay. I get it."

*The next day; noon*

"Alice?" I heard a voice softly say, it was Lyn. "Come on sleeping beauty, we're going clothes shopping. You start school tomorrow, remember."

"Alright, I'll be ready in 10." I groan and brush my hand across her face. She chuckles slightly, before exiting my room.

I slowly get out of bed, and drag my feet over to my closet. I grab my Panic! hoodie, my jeans that had Green Day quotes written everywhere, and my FOB shoes. 

8 minutes later, I was ready, so I walked out of my room, and down the stairs, tripping on the last few steps. Luckily, Lyn was there to catch me. 

"Come on, lets go." She says happily. I nod before following out of the door and to the car.

*Shopping*

"So, where first hun?" Lyn asked.

I say, maybe a little too loudly, "Hot Topic! Hot Topic!"

She laughed softly, before making her way to Hot Topic, me shortly following.

"Here we are," she said. "Go wild, spend as much as you'd like."

My eyes lit up and a smile appeared on my face, and I pushed open the door to Hot Topic.

*Small skip*

30 minutes and 2 bags full of merch later, we were out of Hot Topic. I bought 4 Panic! shirts, 3 FOB tank tops, a Green Day hoodie, a FIR beanie, a pair of black jeans, and a few snapbacks. I feel bad for spending about $170 on things I don't deserve, but Lyn insisted.

"I'm going to get some new dresses, you want to come?" she asked. "I'll buy you a dress or two if you want to." I shook my head, she accepted it, and we both made our way to the shop. On our way, we passed a shop that was called 'Love is Love', with LGBTQ+ flags littered around it. I stopped, admired the shop, my mouth agape.

"Alice?" Lyn said, scaring me. "Do you want something from here?"

I looked down at my feminine figure, sighed, and then looked back up at her. She looked at me, confused. "A binder?" I said softly. Her shocked expression soon turned soft, and she nodded, making her way into the shop.

*Another small skip*

10 minutes, and a bag full of stuff, I finally felt as if I was going to be comfortable with my body, for the first time in forever. I had gotten 3 skin-colored binders, a poster, a snapback that said 'I'm trans, deal with it', and a hoodie that had the trans flag on it, with other LGBTQ+ flags on the back. Lyn figured out I was trans, as she watched me run over to the hoodie and snapback I've now got, and then the binders. The poster was a sort of add-on, really.

*After the shopping*

After an exhausting, but exciting shopping trip, we decided to get some fast food, to eat on the way back home. The first thing we came across was Taco Bell, and we both agreed on it. We both bought burritos, and ate in the car park, as you do. 5 minutes later, we had both finished our burritos, and were heading home.

The shopping center wasn't far from the house, so it took us about 10 minutes to get home. I jumped out of the car, and ran straight to the trunk, flinging it open. I grabbed my 3 bags, and Lyn grabbed her single back, and closed the door.

Before Lyn could find the key to the door, it swung open quickly, Gee stood there, an unreadable expression on his face. Before I got involved in this soon-to-start argument, I shoved past Gee, and up the stairs. I stopped half way, looked back at Lyn, and mouthed a 'thank you', before continuing.
