*4:30pm*

My phones buzzing next to me, but I have no idea who's calling me. It's an unknown number. I pick it up, but I don't realize who it is.

'Hello,' the person on the other end of the line calls. 'Alice? Is this you?'

I stay awkwardly quiet before squeaking out a 'Yes.'

'Alice!' He screams down the line, making me move my phone away from my ear.

'Jesus, what?' I scream equally as loud. Awkward silence, nice.

After about a minute of awkward silence, I hang up. Weird.

*The Next Day; 7am*

'Brendon,' I mutter, dragging the 'e' out. 'Shut up.'

I hear my door squeak open, but I remain in the same.position.

"Alice." They sounded serious, and their voice was oddly familiar. "Get up, now."

Not caring about who they are, I raise my hand and flip them off, then tuck my hand back under the warmth of my covers.

I hear a sigh, an almost inaudible 'whatever.' and then my door squeak closed

*7:30am*

"Alice Way!" I shuffle in my bed. "Up. Now!" I furrow my eyebrows, and shuffle again.

I hear footsteps crashing up the stairs, and felt the breeze coming from my door being swung open.

"You. Up. Now."

I don't respond. 10 seconds later, I hear footsteps stomping over to where I lay, and an arm forcefully grab my slightly exposed hand. Him.

"You're going to pay for this young lady."
