Sometimes,
he would think to himself,
if she thought of him
as much as if he thought of her.
After the split,
he was haunted by their memories.
When he closed her eyes,
she was there.
When he was making music,
she was his inspiration.
When he look on his phone,
there she was,
on his lock and home screen.
He never had the heart
to change it.
It was all he had left.
These were all the memories
of her that he has.
