Sibling Love

Today is Christmas, and I'm waiting in my bed for my brother to burst in the room any moment to tell me to get my lazy butt up,like he does every year. So I'm patiently waiting.

He's taking forev-

I didn't even get to finish my thought before my brother bursted in my room and started to jump on my bed.

"Get Up You Lazy Butt!" he started to cheer

"Why should I get up?" I said testing him

"Because it's Christmas you Idiot!" he said with a duh look on his face.

"You know I hope you get coal in your stocking because you called me a mean name." I said fake crying

"Okay, Okay, I'm sorry, but everyone knows you have called me worse names." he said calmly

"Okay, but those bad names just ... you know kinda slip out, and apology accepted." I said smiling at him and he smiled back.

"Yeah I know. Now let's go. I want peasants!" He screamed with joy.

He ran out of my room and ran into the living room where the Christmas tree was with all the presents under neath the tree.

JC started to jump for joy at the sight of the tree and my mom came down with her camera in her hand. Ugh...I hate pictures!

"Okay, so what do you guys want to do first, pictures first or peasants first?" my mom asked me and JC.

"Pictures first." I said. I just wanted to get them over with.

"No, Peasants first!" JC screamed with excitement.

"I'm the big sister. No questions. No argument. Well just do this my way!" I said with a straight expression.

JC was being a smart boy, and listen to me.

We took ower stupid pictures and now it was time for peasants.

JC ran up to the tree a grabbed peasants one bye one. opening them with excitement in his eyes. He got mostly everything a twelve year old boy would want.

I got the things I wanted clothes, shoes, makeup, New iPhone, and more.

"So Iris I can't believe you have to start packing tomorrow." my mom said sadly. I looked at my brother and his face fell and started to look depressed. I look away from him, while I talk to my mom.

"Yeah, I better at least start to pack even tho I got three more days but still that's not long." I said to my mom and she just nodded.

"Okay, I'm going to go cook the chicken and the rest of the food, you guys clean this mess up." My mom said pointing to all the rapping pepper.

Before I started to clean I looked at my brother and finally asked him what's bugging him.

"JC, what's wrong bud?" I asked softly

He looked up at me with sad eyes. "I don't want you to leave."

he said looking down at the carpet.

I walked over to him and sat on the ground right by where he was sitting.

"Why not? I thought you disliked me." I said laughing trying to lighten the mood.

"No, I don't I just act like that," he said sadly "and you will be so far away, it's not like I can just go and visit you." he sounded really depressed.

"No matter what we will always be together." I said calmly

"How? You will be thousands of miles away!" He said with a questioning voice.

"We will be separated by distance, but joined by love." I said while I rapped my arm around him to try a comfort him.

Then next thing I knew he was hugging me and whispering in my ear some words I will never forget.

"You are the person who holds me in my bad times. You are the person who dances with me in my happiness. I can't imagen a single day when you were absent from my life.

I Really Love You My Big Sister"

After he said those words I couldn't help but to start to cry a little.

You know how in the begging I told you I can not love anybody, how I have no love left, and how I'm scared the one I love will leave me some how.

Well now I'm learning to love again little by little, and I'm slowly gaining my love to love anybody, I'm still scared but if they leave I can not stop or prevent them from leaving, but I can give them all the love I got.

I look at JC and whispered in his ear slowly and lovingly.

"I love you to."
