Aimee was in her bed, curled up like a ball. She couldn't handle this pain. Her headache wasn't subsiding and she missed Will. She remembered the Spring of '82. Will was at her house. They were telling each other their most kept secrets.
That's when she told him that she liked Mike. And that's when he told her that he wasn't really attracted to girl's or guys. He didn't really know what he was but he was ready to find out.
They both made promise to each other and that made them closer to each other than the others. Soon, Michelle knocked on Aimee's bedroom door.
"Aimee?"
"Yea?"
"Mom, wants you to get ready for school." Aimee didn't really feel like going to school.
"Uhhh, can you tell mom that I don't feel good?" Aimee asked her sister. Michelle smiled at her sister.
"Sure." She replied. She hugged her sister. "And I'm so sorry about Will. He was a good kid."
"It's okay. I just miss him."
"I know you do and it sucks. Just know we're here to help and support you." Michelle comforted. Aimee smiled weakly. Then Michelle walked off out of her room. She got under her comforters and went to sleep.
But it wasn't a long sleep. Her radio came to life.
"Lucas, Aimee, do you copy?" Aimee got up and grabbed it from her dresser. Yet, she didn't reply. "Lucas, Aimee, come on, I know you're there! This is urgent. I'm serious. I'm not gonna stop until you answer.
Guys! Lucas! Aimee, Lucas, Aimee, Lucas, Aimee, Lucas, Aimee, Lucas, Aimee, Lucas, Aimee, Aimee!!"Aimee had enough. She had this huge headache and Mike isn't making it any better...
"Ugh, shut up!" Aimee growls.
"Go away, Mike. I'm not in the mood, all right? Over and out."
"No, not "out." I'm not messing around, okay? This is about Will. Over."
Aimee sat up on her bed.
"What about Will? Over." She asked.
"You mean about his funeral? Over." Lucas asked curiously.
"No, not his funeral. Screw his funeral!" Aimee gasped. What is he talking about?
"What?" Lucas inquired.
"Just get over here stat. And bring Dustin. Over and out."
Aimee was confused. She put on some clothes and wandered downstairs. She saw her mom in the living room.
"Hey, mom. Can I go to Mike's house?"
"Why?"
"He isn't feeling well, either. And he wanted me to go over and comfort him."
"Awh," Her mom cooed.
"Ugh, stop." Aimee said, embarrassed.
"Okay, tell Karen to call me when you get over there."
"Okay." Aimee said and left for Mike's house.
I'm a good liar. Aimee thought. I'd probably be a good actress.
Aimee ran across the street to Mike's house and knocked on the door. Then, Nancy opened it.
"Hey, Aimee." She smiled and hugged the girl.
"Hey, Nance." Aimee said wearily. Nancy noticed.
"Come in." Aimee walked into the house. "You alright?" Aimee turned around to address the teenage girl.
