Bonnie was up early remembering her late husband, Bobby. It's really funny how in since they were. Even in sync enough to conceive Aimee on the same day as Shelly. December 18th was both Michelle's and Aimee's birthday, except for the fact that Michelle was born in 1966 and Aimee in 1971. They even gave Aimee her sisters name as a middle name. Aimee Michelle Moore.
Bobby and Bonnie loved each other and their kids.
Around 1972, that's when it all happened.
Bobby left to assist in the Vietnam War a year and a half after Aimee was born. He impregnated Bonnie with a third child, which unfortunately miscarried. She was devastated but she couldn't speak to anyone about it. Her husband was away and her kids were too young to understand. She wanted desperately for Bobby to come home and be with his family. She kept hoping to see him at the front door every moment she looked at it.
But he wasn't there...
And in the summer of 1975 came around, Hawkins got information that the war ended. Bonnie thought she would be able to see her Bobby again.
But then, she got the phone call...
"Robert Moore is dead."
She broke down. Her first love was no longer with them. She remembered him saying "If I don't return, move on. Be happy."
She always thought he was gonna return.
But he didn't and she fell into depression.
But with the love of her 2 beautiful daughters, she became happy once again.
But she never forgot about Bobby Moore.
At this point, Bonnie was in tears. She couldn't be strong anymore.
"Mom?" Bonnie turned around to see Aimee standing in her doorway [Look at the gif at the top]. She smiled slightly when she saw her mom. "Mom, why are you crying? Are you okay?" Inquired Aimee.
"Uh, um...y-yeah. I'm okay."
"No, you're not." Aimee told her mother, which made her sob harder. "But that's okay. You're not supposed to be happy all the time."
"I'm sorry, honey. I just...I just miss your father." The moment Bonnie said the word father Aimee's eyes started to burn. She felt a tear slip from her eye. "I mean, I loved him. We-we all did and...and..." Bonnie stopped and looked at her daughter. Aimee's face was consumed with tears.
"Oh, Aimee. I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you cry..." Bonnie got up and grabbed Aimee a tissue.
"It's-it's fine, mom." Aimee said.
"No, Aimee. You're not." Aimee finally cracked.
"It's just that my dad died when I was 3 so I haven't properly gotten to know him." Bonnie sighed. She hated that her daughter felt this way.
"Just know," Bonnie rubbed Aimee's cheek. "He loved you and Shelly very much."
"He did?"
"Definitely. Did you know that you were about to have a little brother?"
"About? What happened to him?"
"Do you know what a miscarriage is?"
"Yeah. When a mother loses her baby during pregnancy." Aimee was surprisingly smart. That's what she expected from her daughters.
"Well, that's what happened to me." Aimee gasped.
"So I was gonna have a little brother?" Bonnie just nodded, holding back tears. Aimee smiled weakly. "Can you tell me more about dad?" Bonnie nodded.
