Right After The Giants War
It was a sunny, bright day in Camp-Half Blood. The campers were happy, the heroes returned, all was well. Gaea has been defeated by the seven heroes of the prophecy. Jason, Piper, Leo, Frank, Hazel, Annabeth and I.
The camp was the best it had ever been, a true golden age. The Gods had given each hero a substantial amount of power in their respective domain. We all had declined immortality, but the gods have said that we may change our minds if we please.
Life was awesome! Not nearly as many monsters as before, and the gods began to re-connect with their children. Mom and Paul were living fine in an apartment they recently got.
I sat on a wooden log by the beach, looking at the beautiful sight. Blue ocean, and the sun reflected off the waters that moved in a mesmerizing pace.
What was I going to do after the war? The danger was over, peace was here, maybe I could live with my family in a normal, somewhat normal at least life. Yeah, sounds awesome. Me and my Wise Girl.I smiled happily at the thought.
"Hey Seaweed Brain!" A cheerful voice who I knew belonged to the most beautiful girl in the world. There she was, her blond hair, grey eyes, red shirt and jeans. Huh, red for Athena.
"Hi Annabeth, what's up?" I asked. Annabeth sat next to me with.....a nervous expression, which was odd. She was never nervous unless spiders were involved.
"Well...Percy, I want to think about our future." She said with a not-so-sure look.
"What about it?" I asked with a smile, knowing her nerve was ticked.
She saw my grin and gave a small slap to my shoulder. "Percy! This isn't funny, I am serious! We need to plan ahead, what we will be like in the future." This was Annabeth's Athena mind at work. She is obviously afraid of not knowing what the future holds, so it makes sense she is paranoid.
"Alright. Hmm, let's see, what about getting a house next to that coffee shop you liked in New Rome?" I asked thoughtfully.
I could sense her smiling. "The one you ordered a pizza in?"
"Yeah, that one." I replied. Annabeth gave a small laugh at my mistake a while ago.
"What do you have in mind, Wise Girl?" I questioned her.
She thought for a moment. "Mmmmm, I guess the best option would be to find a suitable place to live with a contact with New Rome and Camp, and well, so much more." She sounded frustrated at the end.
I held her in my arms. "At least we have a lifetime to find out." I said as we kissed. It was a romantic occasion, kissing on a beach, watching the sun reflect it's shine on the waters.
"Daaaaang Percy!" A voice shouted from the bushes behind us. It was Leo, who was coming out from the bushes to greet us.
"Really Leo?" I gave a fake glare at the "Metal Master" as Leo had insisted the 7 call him from now on.
"Well, that's what you get for making out in the open." Leo said sheepishly.
"Tell that to her." I grin as I point to a fuming Annabeth about to pounce on Leo like a bear on an elk.
"Uh, please don't kill me ma'am." Leo pleaded.
I grinned as Annabeth gave Leo the scolding of his entire life, and after the drama was settled, we heard the lunch horn ring throughout the camp.
We met up with Reyna, Jason, Piper, Nico, Rachel, Thalia, Grover, Frank, and Hazel, who were all at Camp Half-Blood at the moment. Reyna, Jason, Piper, Frank, and Hazel would leave soon, but we were celebrating these few days.
