Michael's POV

I didn't see Rebecca at school. I wonder where she went.

I saw her when we had lunch. She was sitting by herself and I wanted to ask her where did she go, we didn't even walk to school.

"Hey, why didn't you wait up, I walked to school all by myself." I said while chuckling a little.

"You shouldn't be here, sit with your girlfriend, it's better for everyone" she replied in a low voice.

"Why? Like I said be-" I had cut off  by my girlfriend.

Rebecca's POV

Crap ! Why was he here, I mean I liked it but why? He has never noticed me.

Holy shit, Hayley is coming up to me and she looked so pissed off.

"What the hell are you doing with my boyfriend you sick freak? Huh? Answer me you little bitch" she screamed. Of course she wanted to make me look worse in front of the entire school.

"I-I, I'm not, I- j-just sitting here by myself" I answered. In all honesty, I was shitting bricks.

"He doesn't like you, he wants you to be dead, just like your mother, if you want you can disappear like your father did too " she threatened me while  laughing evil.

"Hayley, what's your problem? Don't be like that, she's cool and just give her chance" Michael said.

I grabbed my things and left the caferteria, I just couldn't take it anymore. She's the worst person alive.

"Beck? Why does this happen to you? Why do they tease you about your mom being dead or your dad walking out on you" I kept asking myself down low.

I stuffed my books in my bookbag, the ones I needed, of course. I had my next class with Hayley and I didn't want to be there.

"I don't know, and I'm sorry for what happened back in the cafeteria" someone said behind me.

To my surprise, he didn't scare me.

"I'm used to it, uhm.. don't worry about" I finished amd closed my locker and started to walk away.

"Where you going? Aren't you gonna stay for history?" he asked.

"I'm going home and no.. Hayley is in that class" I said when my voice cracked.

"Can I come with, I mean if you want company, I'm fine wi- " I cut him off by saying that he can come along.

It was silent until we came to my house.

"Should I?" he asked.

"Should you what? I asked with curiosity.

"Break up with Hayley, I mean she is horrible to everyone, especially you.. that ain't fair" he replied. I think he meant it. It's sweet and all but I just couldn't wrap my head around the big news I just finished hearing.

" In my opinion, if you want but that isn't my call to make and yeah she is really mean to me, it's because I don't have my parents, she thinks she's great because she has money and both parents" I said.

"If you don't mind askin', what happened to your parents?"

" Oh, uhm.. my mom she died of cancer and my dad walked out on us when I was 8" I replied and started to tear a little, I hope he doesn't notice.

"You know what? I'm going to do it " he said taking a deep breathe, walking away.
