Rebecca's POV

When I got home, the idea couldn't leave my head. I needed to write that letter. It isn't a bad idea I thought to myself. I finally got the nicest paper I could find, and the best pen I wrote with. So I started as...

      Dear Michael,

You may never know who this is but I'll tell you this, you make my heart beat faster than a guitar on strings. The day that I met you, I think I might have fallen' in love with you. Every time I see you it brings butterflies to my stomach, and it's a great feeling to feel. I can't wait to feel your body against mine. I won't have the courage to sign this, but I just fall for you more and more as the days pass by.

                                                                                                    Signed,

The Next Day

Rebecca's POV

The next morning came and I got dressed for school. Today is the day I'll slip the letter into Michael's locker.

I passed by his locker twice already. Why can't I do it? Stop being a chicken.

Once the bell rang and everyone went inside their classes, I went and slipped it into his locker. I felt relieved that I finally did it. I scurried off to class because I knew that my teacher would be pissed. I walked into my English class and everyone starred at me,  which I found very uncomfortable.

" Nice for you to join us Ms. Laurens, would you like to share your story?" Mr. Edwards asked very sarcastically. I knew that he was being sarcastic, it was pretty obvious. I hated that.

"The homework from last night?" Crap, that was when I realized that I didn't do it...

"Actually, the story on why you're late, but that one would be better" he plastered a smile on his face when I brought it up. I set myself up for that one... nice one Rebecca.

I took my seat and I put my head down. Sometimes I hated that class, but sometimes I didn't because that is my best subject and I love English. Now that I come to think of it, my mom comes to mind. She enjoyed reading to me every night when I was a little girl. I guess you can say she's my inspiration for writing. Everyday she makes me want to go to school and become successful.

I felt a tears escape my eyes because I just had thought of my mom. I sometimes think of her and when I do, it reminds me of all the great times we had together. It makes me miss her a lot...

I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I brought my head up and turned my face away. I quickly took my sleeve and wiped my tears away. I didn't want the person to see me like that. Once I finished, I turned around and it was Michael.

" Are you alright?' he asked concernedly. It was so sweet that he asked. Maybe that's one of the qualities that makes me like him even more. I nodded my head meaning yes, that I'm alright. "Thank you for asking though" I smiled.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, I mean you walked in pretty late to class and you put your head down immediately once you sat down" he explained. Now that left me in awe. The bell finally rang. Thank the lord it did.

I'm on my way to meet up with Gale and we are going to have lunch. I'm pretty sure she's going to tell me about how her date went with that guy.

I went to go look for Gale, she wasn't at the spot that we usually meet. It was a little bit odd, I shrugged it off and continued to look for her. I saw her at a table with someone. I got closer, I couldn't believe who she was sitting with. My stomach turned upside down, I was torn, I was upset and most of all, I was confused

Michael...
