Just a quick note, I'm going back to first person.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The sun slowly began creeping up signalling the early morning. All the birds were already chirping their melodies preventing me from getting anymore sleep. Whatever, it's not like I need it... Thankfully, I managed to slip away unnoticed so I will travel alone from now on. There is only one question though, where to now? I could help out in the villages on this side of Ru'aun but what can a girl with some guard training that wasn't even in the academy for long do to help? And if I'm not mistaken, most Lords right out refused female guards when I was finishing training... I shouldn't think about that. Maybe I'll just stay on my own for a while, no village no anything. That might be good for me, at least until I decide to settle down somewhere. I wanted a change from my past life that I never got to fully enjoy because of the damn curse. Maybe I should just build a small wooden cottage near a lake in one of the forests and become a crazy cat lady, who know maybe that's what I'm going to become.When the sun was finally fully awake and shining in my eyes, I had all of my things gathered and I began my descent from the tree I slept on top of.
My back ached from the uncomfortable position that I was in for most of the night. As soon as my feet hit the ground I was running In the direction of Scaleswind. I could always ask Nichole as to what I can do which would include avoiding people but there's always that chance she won't want to talk to me even if we left off on good terms. She probably became the Lord of Scaleswind if her father has passed which I assume he did considering his age.After about half an hour of running I slowed down my pace to a fast walk. I'm not about to get back to anyone so keeping a fast pace is my priority, for all I know they're looking for me. I still had a long way to go before I reach Scaleswind, talking about a day or two of travel but I didn't mind. It gave me time to think about every detail of my journey so far after I woke up.
Everything turned upside down that night eighteen years ago. I lost my best friend, my adoptive mother and half of my life. After I woke up I found out the history of my biological family. Somewhat at least. Later I lost my father and O'Khasis,the place that I grew up in was invaded. After that I met up with lady Aphmau's group and like a miracle I found my brother. I helped them out and they me only for me to leave. I didn't care. I don't want anythingto do with my past. At all. I just want to have a fresh start wherever it may be. I want to live my life how I wanted it to be. As for now I'm escaping it,all that is left is to forget it. No matter how much that will hurt me or them.
