I don't own Harry Potter, obviously, otherwise it wouldn't be called a fanfiction, all rights to the talented JK Rowling, except for a few characters.

Hope you like it!

Chapter 1

If there was one thing you could say about the house they call "The Burrow" it's that it's a wonderful and welcoming giant mess, with a lot of floors, and lots of rooms, of course, because there were lots of people living there. And there, at "The Burrow", was living Harry Potter, also known worldwide as the Boy Who Lived, or the Chosen One, kind of adopted by the Weasleys nearly seven years ago. There he was, lying on a bed in a little yet comfortable room that Ronald Weasley, his best mate since their first year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry, was happy to share with him every summer. He just felt good, in this simple place, with all those wonderfully simple people, far enough from the medias that loved to talk lies about him whenever they saw him. He just felt right.

Only two months ago, took place the bloodiest battle in the entire history of the Magic World. Even though they eventually won, they had suffered many losses, and many injuries, they had been hurt, physically, of course, but also mentally, painful memories haunting every single one of those who had seen blood being spilled.

Although Harry was feeling slightly better now than a few months prior, he still felt guilty, tired, and hollow.

Just as he was drifting back to sleep the door shot open as Ginny Weasley, in her pajamas, came running to his bed, falling on him as she yelled morning greetings.

He felt her weight on him and greeted her sleepily. "Hello." he replied, placing her correctly on his lap, "Care to explain why you're attacking me this early in the morning.?"

"I thought I wanted to tell you, until I saw you that way." She said thoughtfully.

"That way?"

"Well, messy black hair, sleepy voice, well made abs, and iresistible lips..." she said in a hushed tone, before she kissed him passionately. She let her fingers run through his hair and he grabbed her by the hips.

"Oi!! I'm here!" Ron who had been sleeping right next to them, made his presence -which Harry had nearly forgotten about for an instant- known. "I thought it was a nightmare when I heard what you just said, but clearly it's not!! Do that in a room that I'm not in!!" He yelled, exaggerated disgust in his voice.

"Oh Ron! Go find Hermione and shut up!" His sister replied without a thought, making him turn bright red, and earning a laugh from Harry.

He cursed under his breath and got out of bed quickly, heading downstairs for breakfast.

"Maybe we should go too." Harry proposed, kissing the top of her nose lightly.
"Yeah we should. But put a shirt on. It's only me that can see that in the morning" she said, getting up.

He grinned and soon a shirt was covering his chest. She smiled evily and ran down the stairs. But he was faster than her and he took her by the wrists in the middle of the stairs making her scream in surprise as she found herself pushed against the barrier.

"I won. Again." He said, before running again and arriving first in the kitchen. She followed soon after, a playful frown on her face.

There already were Mrs Weasley, Ron, and Hermione, eating their breakfast.

"Hello Harry dear" Molly greeted him.

"Good morning, Harry."

"Hey 'mione, Mrs Weas- Molly" he corrected himself when he caught the "how many times did I tell you to call me Molly" look she gave him. The plates were full of food, just like every morning, thanks to Molly.
"So" he said while taking his seat at the table, "you didn't tell me why you attacked me."

"Oh! Well we got letters from Hogwarts but we were waiting for you guys to be here to open them, which we shall do right now." Ginny replied.

Harry's hands quickly opened his enveloppe and unfolded the letter that was inside.

Dear Mr Potter,
I am pleased to inform you that Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry will re-open on the first of September this year. We are welcoming you to pass your NEWTS exams and finish your seventh year at Hogwarts. If you come back, I would be pleased to give you the position of Gryffindor Quidditch Team captain. The decision is yours to take.
Sincerely yours,
Minerva Mcgonagall, Headmistress of Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Coming back to school...Harry had thought about it of course, but now that it seemed real, he wasn't sure it was really the right thing to do.
"The school is officialy re- opening guys!" Ginny said happily.

"I'm going back, I have to get my NEWTS." Hermione stated quickly. That was not really a surprise, coming from the most hard working and school-focused girl ever.

"What about you boys?" Molly turned to Harry and Ron.

"Well, I don't know, you know, I wanted to, maybe, start the auror training.." Ron said shyly, turning to his best mate, in need for help.

"I....I don't know either... I mean, school, after what happened, that wouldn't be the same... would it?" The black haired boy explained. He would rather start the training than go to school but there was Ginny. He didn't want to spend another year without her.

"The choice is yours, Harry dear. Don't worry about what we think." Said Mrs Weasley reassuringly.

"Hey!" Ginny, who had been reading Harry's letter, gasped. "You could be Quidditch Captain again!!"

"That's wonderful Harry!! Congratulations!! Even though it's not really a surprise, is it?" Hermione said.

"Hard choice to make mate. But Harry and I still have time to think about it." Ron stated.

"Maybe we could talk to Mcgonagall about it."

"Yes, whenever we see her." Ron approved.

"Do not sweat it for now boys, you still have some time toi think things through." They all nodded at Molly's words. "Now off to eat. The sausages are getting cold."

First chapter. I hope you like it. Tell me if you find any grammar error, but I don't think that there are too many. (Hopefully).
Thanks for reading anyway! 😊
