Chapter 16 : I missed you (a bit)

It was a Saturday morning. Nice day I might add. I felt strangely happy.

"No need to ask why you are smiling like an idiot." Hermione said smiling.

We were in the Great Hall eating breakfast. Melissa, Laliah , Parvati and Betty all grinned at me.

"Why?" I asked faking innocence, though I perfectly knew why I was so joyful. Harry was coming back today. Well and Ron of course.

"We all know why." Laliah said sternly.

I couldn't help it : I smiled widely.

They all laughed.

"You are even more happy than Hermione!"

"I'm not!! I'm only happy because it's a beautiful day!! The sun is shining you see?" I said pointing something above my head.

Melissa coughed. "That the Great Hall ceiling." They all burst out laughing and I finally joined them.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"It's only half to ten you know. No need to hurry." Hermione told me.

I nodded.

Hours seemed to pass very slowly. It was nearly ten minutes before noon and we were on an armchair in the common room doing some homework when I asked Hermione. " Where do we meet them?"

"Just in the corridor before Mcgonagall's office."

"Okay."

"You miss him so much." Hermione stated.

"I don't."

"Yes you do. "

"It's normal. He is my.... friend."

"Of course." She said raising her eyebrows.

I sighed. Was she right? Was I missing him too much? He only went away for five days. But it seemed like years to me. I couldn't wait.
"What time is it?"

She sighed.

"The clock is here." She said pointing to the huge clock just in front of me.

"I'm just checking!" I said.

"You are hopeless."

"I'm not."

"It's the fifth time you say that today."

"Shut it!"

She sighed. I smiled. Only a few minutes.

"Should we go now? What if they arrive before noon?"

She looked at me as to say " really?" But finally said "Okay let's go."

I stood up and nearly fell.

"Stop being so excited!" Hermione laughed.

"I am n-"

"You are not, I know!"

We walked to Mcgonagall's office. I checked the time. Noon. Noon. Noon. Noon. They should be here..

I was feeling really bad until suddenly relieved ran through my body. Didn't know why though. Then I heard a voice through the door. His voice. "Hermione ! It's him! I mean it's them!"

"What?"

"Don't you hear them?"

"No.." she looked at me, looking sceptical.

Suddenly the door opened. They were here.

"Harry!!!"

"Gin!!!!"
