Ashton:

The appointments were at the same time, which sucked because I either had to go with one of them, or none of them

"Who should I go with? Or neither?" I asked the girls as I pulled in. Brianna was smiling and looking out the window the whole ride as Jesse stared at the floor, not daring to look at either of us

"It doesn't matter, you can go with Jesse, I'll be fine" Brianna said and I nodded. Jesse didn't object and once I parked the car, they unbuckled their seat belts and we went inside.

Jesse still was quiet the whole time. No comments or even looks at either of us. I handed her the clipboard to fill out her information and same with Brianna. I sat in the middle of them in the pediatric office waiting area and 2 nurses came out with a smile

"Jessica and Brianna Irwin?" One and I smiled and the 3 of us stood up

"I'm their father" I smiled and shook their hands and they nodded

"I'll be taking in Brianna" the red headed nurse said and Brianna nodded and followed her

"And I'll be taking Jessica" the other brunette smiled and Jesse nodded a little and the two of us followed her. First, we entered a room with a small chair and scale and height chart. The nurse asked Jesse to take off her shoes and bag and I held onto them as she stepped onto the scale

"Alright... Well it says you're 91 pounds" the nurse said nervously and scribbled it down quickly, "and if you can step off and stand tall over here" she said and Jesse followed directions and stood on the tape and was measured for height, "175 centimeters. Great height" she smiled and wrote that down. Next she took her blood pressure, pulse rate and respiration levels. And all were normal for her considering she smoked. The nurse warned her of the risks of smoking and Jesse kindly listened, but it clearly didn't change her mind.

"So I'll bring you to the next room where you'll need to strip all the way down, and then wear this robe and the doctor will check you out" she smiled as she showed us to the next room

"How are you doing Jesse?" I asked and as she set her bag and such on the table and took off her socks

"I hate it Ashton. Absolutely hate it" she said flatly. I cleared my throat and looked down as she changed into the robe and I helped her onto the table as we waited for the doctor.

Brianna:

Everything was going fine. It was just another physical for me, but I knew it was going to be like baptizing a cat for Jesse.

After the doctor had talked to me about getting a stronger inhaler, she recommended getting a allergy test and she went to go and ask Ashton as I waited alone in the examination room next to Jesse's where I could hear arguing already. *sigh*

"Alrighty" she sighed as she came back after 10 minutes, "he thinks that it's a good idea as long as you're alright with it" she said and I nodded. She explained to me how it would work, what they would do and such. It basically consisted of being poked with a little needle in my arm with a substance I could be allergic too, and if it swelled up in that area, then it meant I was allergic to it

"So I'm just gonna start here, alright?" She asked and I nodded. She quickly poked me with 10 needles and marked them all with a soft pen and then swabbed me down and smiled, "I'll be back in 10 minutes, I'm just going to get you a new inhaler with the medicine in it" she said and I nodded. She shut the door behind me and I could hear apart of what was going on in Jesse's room, which was her and Ashton arguing
