The New Sidekick- Chapter 1

Previously....
Henry said" I.. Love you.. Savannah".

I smiled and happily said" I love you too Henry". Henry scooted closer to me and slowly started leaning in and I felt his lips touch mine.. He was kissing me... I kissed back.

Henry smiled" Feels goood!".

I laughed and Ray looked at me and asked" So.. Savannah? You were pretty brave through everything that has happened, And you have great power and good fighting skills. Would you like to join Henry and I?".

I looked at Ray and asked" Wait.. What do you mean join You and Henry?".

Ray answered" Would you like to be my superhero sidekick?".

I sat there in shock not knowing what to say...

Savannah's POV
I sat there shocked by what Ray just asked me... Henry had a shocked look on his face also. I've gone through so much... I didn't know how I was supposed to answer this question.

Henry looked at Ray and said" But.. I'm your sidekick, Are you replacing me?".

Ray shook his head" No, I'm not replacing you. I want Savannah to fight crime with us, she would be a good addition to our team. What do you say Savannah?".

I thought about it about it for a minute and nodded" Yes! I'll join you guys".

Ray smiled" Yay! We will get you everything you need when we get back to the Man cave".

Henry cheered" Yay! I get to work with you!".

I laughed" Yes you do".

We got up and decided to walk some more, I think we were close to being out of the forest. Henry and I were walking side by side while Ray was walking ahead of us. I felt mine and Henry's hands touch on accident. I looked down and blushed a little, then pulled my hand away.

We continued walking in silence until Ray stopped walking. Henry and I both stopped, We've only been walking for 10 minutes... We shouldn't have stopped.

Henry asked" Ray why did you stop?".

Ray answered happily" I found the exit".

Henry and I walked over next to Ray and looked, it was true. We found our way out of the forest. Ray took off running towards it, Henry and I followed behind. We were finally out of the forest and everything looked so familiar again. We could actually see the city of Swellview.

We all cheered happily, we were happy that we weren't lost anymore.

Ray turned to Henry and said" Okay, It's getting late and your parents are probably worried sick, Bring Savannah to the Man cave tomorrow so I can get her set up".

Henry nodded" Okay, Savannah are you ready to go home?".

I replied" Yes, lets go".

Henry and I said bye to Ray and made our way home... When Henry and I walked in the door Mr and Mrs Hart surrounded us with hugs.

Mr's Hart questioned" Where have you guys been?? You've been gone for 4 days".

Henry looked at me, we didn't know what to tell them..

Henry lied" There was a criminal and he kinda captured us".

Mr. Hart said" Were glad you guys are okay"..

I sighed in relief, I was glad they believed it.

Mr's Hart said" Go get cleaned up".

Henry asked" Where's Piper?".

Mr's Hart answered" She's at a friends house".

We both nodded and headed upstairs, I grabbed some clean Pj's and went and took a shower. It felt so good to be clean. After my shower, Henry took a shower.

Then we both went back downstairs and ate dinner, which tasted so good. All we ate in the forest was berries and a couple apples for the past 4 days.

We all sat down at the table and ate our food, Henry finished before all of us and went and sat on the couch and watched tv.

After I finished eating, I went and sat down on the couch next to him. After a few minutes, I started to fall asleep.

Henry must of noticed because he pushed my head down to where it was laying on his lap. I was looking up at him.

Henry said" I need to ask you something".

I nodded" Okay what is it?".

Henry took a deep breath and asked" Will you go out with me?".

I smiled and happily answered" Yes".

Henry smiled and leaned down slowly towards my face, I lifted my head up and leaned towards his face. I felt our lips touch. Henry kissed me softly. I kissed back. I felt electricity surge through my body.

I layed my head back down on Henry's lap and minutes later I fell into a deep sleep.
