The New Sidekick- Chapter 5

I'm really sorry for not updating, I had my tonsils taken out and have been sleeping a lot. Soo sorry if this chapter is a little short.

Savannah's POV
I woke up early this morning, I looked at the clock it read 5:45am. Today was another day at school, Henry didn't even bother to wake me up last night... he must have been to busy thinking about Chloe. I grabbed some clothes and threw them on. I put on some black leggings and a pink long sleeve with some uggs. I put my hair in a high ponytail and headed downstairs.

Henry was sitting at the table eating breakfast. He saw me and smiled" Morning Sav".

I plainly said" Hi".

Henry asked " Are you okay?".

I nodded and grabbed a toaster strudel and put it in the toaster. I was waiting for my toaster strudel to be done when Charlotte came through the door.

Charlotte greeted" Morning Sav, Hi Henry".

I waved and grabbed my toaster strudel out of the toaster, I grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge and put it in my backpack.

Charlotte asked" Are you ready Savannah?".

I nodded" Yeah, are you coming Henry?".

Henry replied" I'm walking Chloe to school today".

I sighed" Fine whatever".

I started to walk out the door when Henry stopped me.

Henry asked" What's your deal with Chloe??".

I lied" Nothing".

Henry demanded" Tell me Savannah".

I sighed again" It seems like you want to be with her more than me, you ignored me yesterday. I don't like being ignored".

Henry replied" I'm sorry Sav, I didn't know you felt that way, Chloe is just a really close friend, I love you and only you".

Henry pulled me into a hug and kissed my head. I hugged him back.

Maybe I didn't have anything to worry about.

Charlotte and I left and headed to school. Which was the same old routine every single day.

*skip school*

I was walking home from school by myself when I heard rattling behind me. I turned around but nothing was there. I turned back around and kept walking but suddenly I felt someone grab me. Then everything went black...

Henry's POV
I arrived home and noticed Savannah wasn't home yet which she usually was by now. I pulled out my phone and called Charlotte.

Charlotte answered" Hello".

I asked" Have you seen Savannah?".

Charlotte replied" No, she walked home by herself today because I had an appointment".

I replied" She's not home yet, she's usually home by now".

Charlotte said" Let's go to the Man cave".

I replied" Okay ". Then I hung up and grabbed my jacket.

Before I left, I yelled to Piper" PIPER I'M GOING TO WORK".

She yelled back" I don't care".

I left my house and headed to Junk'N Stuff. I went down the elevator and saw Charlotte was already here.

I didn't see Ray though. I asked" Where's Ray?".

Charlotte replied" He went to go get wings".

I rolled my eyes" He's better hurry".

I started pacing back and forth, I hope Savannah's okay. Charlotte could tell I was worried.

Ray finally came down the tube, he asked" What are you doing here guys. Did I butt beep you Henry?".

I shook my head " Savannah's gone".

Ray dropped his wings and ran to the computer" She was taken"..

I thought" Here we go again....".
