The New Sidekick - Chapter 7

Savannah's POV
When I woke up I saw nothing but white. I couldn't see where was I?... I struggled to speak but I couldn't.

I heard someone sobbing next to me, I recognized that sobbing from anywhere. It was Charlotte. Where was Henry?. I gave it my all to try and open my eyes but I just couldn't do it. I felt so weak and I was in a lot of pain.

I heard Charlotte start to speak" Hey Savannah, if you can hear this I want to say I'm sorry for not walking home with you yesterday, I should have walked with you. If I would have been there this wouldn't have happened to you. Henry isn't here well because he said he didn't want you anymore... he's being a jerk right now. I'm so sorry Sav. Just know Jasper and I will always be here for you. We love you".

I started crying at that last part. Henry doesn't want me anymore? What did I ever do to him??.

I finally opened my eyes... I stuttered" Ch-Charlotte..".

Charlotte looked at me and smiled" Thank God your okay, I was so worried".

Charlotte gave me a big hug... I asked" Is Henry really breaking up with me like this??".

Charlotte nodded" I'm so sorry Savannah, he's a jerk for doing this to you. I should have listened to you. He left you for Chloe".

I started crying more" How could he, he said she was just a friend".

Charlotte replied" I caught them making out on the couch".

I cried harder" Why?!?!".

Charlotte hugged me trying to comfort me" I'm so sorry".

The doctor then came in to talk to us" Hi, I'm Dr. Robinson. We are releasing you today but you need to be very careful and take it easy. You suffered a lot of damage. But you should be just fine".

I signed my release papers and Charlotte helped me get dressed and I was wheeled out in a wheelchair.

I asked" Charlotte, can I stay at your house for tonight?"

Charlotte nodded" Of course".

Charlotte and I headed to her house, I wanted nothing to do with Henry right now after what he did. I didn't wanna walk in on Chloe and him making out. After about 5 minutes we were at Charlotte's house.

Charlotte said" I'll tell Henry where you are".

I nodded while Charlotte pulled out her phone and called Henry.

Henry answered" Hey Char, How's Savannah?".

Charlotte replied" She's fine, thanks. She's staying with me tonight because she's mad at you".

Henry sighed" Okay, Tell her I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt her".

Charlotte hung up and said" Henry said he's really sorry".

I rolled my eyes" Whatever he's not sorry".

Charlotte sighed" I know, you should get some sleep".

I nodded and laid down on Charlotte's extra bed she had in her room. Before I fell asleep I got a text message from Henry.

Henry: meet me tomorrow at the park at 10.

I sighed and drifted off to sleep.

Tomorrow was going to be interesting...
