The New Sidekick- Chapter 11

Hey guys! I'm so sorry for not updating for a while, I've been so busy with school and medical problems that I didn't have time to update. Here's finally an update! 💓

Savannah's POV
I woke up feeling warmth next to me, I opened my eyes and saw Henry still asleep. I didn't remember how I got in his bed, I barely remember anything from last night.

I yawned and sat up, I looked at the clock it read: 7:30am I stretched and accidentally woke up Henry.

Henry asked" What time is it?".

I replied" It's 7:32". We had an hour before school started.

He yawned and sat up" Are you okay?".

I got out of Henry's bed and quietly said" Yeah, I'm fine".

I walked to the closet and grabbed some clothes. Today was another dreaded day at school. I took a shower and got dressed, I put on some blue jeans and a pink long sleeve shirt. I put on my white converse and braided my hair.

I went back into Henry's room and grabbed my backpack. I really didn't want to go to school, but sadly I had no choice. I sighed and headed downstairs to the living room, as soon as I got downstairs there was a knock at the door, Henry was in the kitchen getting breakfast so I walked over and answered the door.... It was Chloe....

I regretted answering the door, I disliked Chloe for so many reasons that couldn't be explained. You're probably thinking how could I hate someone as nice and sweet as Chloe, well she may seem nice to you when she's around Jace but in reality she is a brat, everything has to be about her.

I sighed" Hi Chloe".

Chloe walked inside the house heading straight towards Henry without even knowing I was there, soon enough they were making out in the kitchen, which made my stomach nauseous.

Charlotte walked in the front door and asked" Hey Savannah, you ready?". She noticed Henry and Chloe making out in the kitchen and gave a disgusted face"

I replied" Yeah, I'd rather go to school then stay here and watch them suck each others faces off".

Charlotte and I laughed and walked out the door, we were almost at school when I sensed something near me, I looked around and saw Zaphira's face appear. I grabbed Charlotte's hand and we ran inside.

She asked" What's wrong, it was nice outside".

I whispered" I saw Zaphira, she was watching me".

Charlotte's eyes grew kind of big" Good call"

The school day was going very slow, slower than usual. I had to suffer seeing Henry and Chloe flirting in every class I had with them. The more I saw them together, the jealousy kept growing and growing. I missed Henry so much, I missed his hugs and his warmth. I wish I could feel that again but I can't.

Henry's POV
I sat there in my seat listening to the teacher and talking to Chloe. Savannah was on my mind, I was thinking about how much I hurt her and how I kind of missed her. I know I'm better off without her, I have Chloe.

Chloe and I flirted through out the whole class period, she was so cute but something didn't feel right, she wasn't Savannah.

I shook my head trying to get Savannah off my mind, I kept looking back at her desk when she wasn't looking. The bell rang English was now over and so was school.  As I stood up and grabbed my backpack, Chloe was standing by the door waiting for me. I walked over to her and held her hand as we walked out of the classroom and into the hallway.

Savannah was in front of us with Jasper and Charlotte. She looked kind of happy but mostly sad.

I sighed as Chloe and I walked out the school doors and into the bright sunshine. We started walking home,  I kept looking behind me because I felt like someone was watching me.

Chloe asked" Henry are you okay?".

I nodded" umm.. sure. Yeah I'm fine".

We continued walking until I felt the feeling again, I turned around a bush rustled, I let go of Chloe's hand and slowly walked towards the bush.

As I was approaching the bush my air source was cut off, there was a gigantic tentacle around my neck choking me.

Chloe saw and screamed" WHAT IS THAT?". she ran away leaving me here.

The tentacle kept getting tighter and tighter until everything went black......
