The New Sidekick- Chapter 15

Charlotte's POV

I helped Ray pick up Savannah as we went down the tubes into the Man Cave.

He ran and grabbed a hospital bed type thing,  we laid her down on it.  Ray connected her to a machine that monitored her pulse and everything. Savannah had lost a lot of blood, I felt so bad.  I hated whoever did this to her. 

I grabbed some tweezers and we carefully started removing glass from her arms and legs. She had a large piece stuck deep in her back.

Ray carefully tried to pull it out...... after he did he sighed" Hopefully she's going to be okay. 

I nodded and sat down next to her, Ray went to get bandages when the pulse machine started beeping, her pulse was dropping...

I yelled" RAY! HELP".

He came running out as he heard the beeping.  He started pouring liquid down her throat,  I had no idea what they were. 

Suddenly.... the machine stopped beeping and Savannah stopped breathing......

Henry's POV
I squinted as I opened my eyes, I looked around I was in an alley with a whole bunch of trash bags everywhere. I couldn't remember anything. All I remember was being captured by  Falcon, but everything else was a blur.

I sat up, something was dripping from my forehead, I reached up and saw blood on my shirt. My head was bleeding.

I carefully tried to stand up, but I ended up falling back down. I tried once again but this time I gripped a trash can to help me get my balance.

As I was finally standing, I stood there looking around, there was huge piles of blood from some person. Thank god it wasn't mine.

I grabbed a big stick to help me keep my balance as I walked, I had to get to the man cave, maybe Ray and Charlotte can help me.

I was walking slowly because my leg hurt so bad. I was about 2 blocks away from Junk N Stuff, 2 blocks felt like forever.

It took me 30 minutes per block. It took me 1 hour and 15 minutes and I was finally standing in front of Junk N Stuff. I opened the door and wobbled around towards the elevators.

As soon as I got down to the Man Cave, I saw Charlotte and Ray running around a table or something.

I spoke up" Hey what's going on??".

Charlotte glared at me with a couple tears running down her face" You!! This is your fault, you killed her".

I had a confused look on my face when they moved away from the gurney bed.  My hand immediately went over my mouth as I screamed" Savannah!!".

I ran to the bed and began crying, I had killed her.... it was my fault.... I began trying to revive her and try to get her pulse back.

I did chest compressions for about 5 minutes, it wasn't working.  I then plugged her nose and began giving her mouth to mouth. I did that for about 6 minutes still nothing. 

I started crying so hard as I fell to my knees yelling" I'm sorry". Over and over again. Suddenly I started feeling dizzy and I felt strong pain go through my whole body as I started shaking, I fell completely on to the floor. Charlotte and Ray had rushed to me trying to say my name but I couldn't make out anything they were saying.

Memories started flooding back to me of what happened, I knew everything now. I was cursed and forced to kill Savannah, and that's when everything was clear I had killed the girl I'm in love with...

She was gone.... and she was never coming back. As my vision cleared up again,  Ray helped me sit up.

As my hearing was still coming back, Ray had been saying" Kid?? What's going on?? Tell us what happened".

After a few moments, I was able to speak" I was cursed by Falcon.... he pumped some chemical into my body and forced me to kill her".

More tears ran down my face, Ray and Charlotte both pulled me into hugs... Charlotte said in a calm voice" calm down Henry, it's okay".

I raised my voice" No it's not, Savannah's gone and it's all because of me, it should have been me instead of her, I deserved it more than she did, I love her so much, and she's gone".

By the time I had finished speaking, I was crying really hard.

Ray and Charlotte were just sitting there hugging me.

We all heard a beeping sound go off, I stood up and ran to Savannah... the pulse machine was beeping again.... she had a pulse.

I yelled" Come here!!".

They both ran over to me and Ray looked at the monitor and pressed some buttons and a hopeful smile came on his face" Her heart started beating again, she's alive but in a coma".

I hugged Savannah as she was lying there. I whispered" I love you".
