The New Sidekick- Chapter 9

Oml it feels like forever since I've been able to update. But here's finally an update!! I have a lot of time to update today so I'll have a couple chapters maybe up today!

Savannah's POV
I sat on the couch most of the night thinking about why my life had to be this way. I wish I was born a normal teenager so I could have a normal life. Yet again it feels like everything's not going to be okay.

I hadn't gotten any sleep whatsoever, all my thoughts were jumbled. I didn't know what to do anymore. I only had 4 more days to decide if I wanted to give my powers to Falcon or get killed. I didn't know what decision to make.

Today was Monday which meant I had to go to school today, which I was dreading. I didn't want to see Henry and Chloe flirting and being all lovey to each other.

It was 6:00am, I am so exhausted. I made my way to Henry's room, of course he was awake. I grabbed some Sweats and a black long sleeve and my keds. I took a shower and got dressed. I put my hair in a ponytail. I really didn't feel like doing anything.

I went back into Henry's room and grabbed my backpack, I had left it in there on accident. Henry and I have been ignoring each other lately. Mostly because he knows I'm mad at him.

I sighed, grabbed my backpack and headed off to school.  Henry of course was with Chloe.

When I walked into my classroom Henry kept staring at me. I continued walking to my seat and sat down next to Charlotte.

Charlotte patted my back and said" it'll be okay".

As soon as I sat down my whiz watch started beeping, I looked at Charlotte and asked" How am I supposed to go to the Man Cave right now during class??".

Charlotte took a minute to respond and then said" Say you're not feeling well and that you need to go to the nurse".

I nodded and noticed Henry left the classroom, I got up and headed towards the teachers desk. I asked" May I go see the nurse?". I feel sick".

The teacher replied" Sure go ahead".

I left the classroom and saw Henry waiting. I thought: Is he waiting for me??.

I was still mad at him, I walked past him without saying a word.

Henry caught up to me and asked" So.. What was your excuse?".

I ignored him and kept walking, he kept trying to talk to me.

Henry finally got annoyed with me and said" Savannah, Please talk to me. I'm sorry I hurt you, Please forgive me I miss talking to you".

I rolled my eyes" Why don't you go talk to your girlfriend Chloe".

Henry replied" She's not my girlfriend, please can we at least be friends?".

It was so hard not to give in, he was so cute and it was hard to stay mad at him. I sighed" Fine, we can be friends".

Henry smiled" Yay, I missed you".

I didn't answer, I missed him so much but not in a friendly way, In a way I couldn't explain.

We finally arrived at Junk N Stuff, we headed down the elevators to the Man Cave. When we got off the elevator Ray was already waiting for us.

Ray asked" What took you guys so long, I called you like 30 minutes ago".

I replied" We were in school and Henry wouldn't stop blabbing his mouth to me".

Henry glared at me" So you think this is my fault?. If you wouldn't have ignored me and talked to me, we would have been here 20 minutes ago".

I argued" I'm not the one who made a promise and didn't keep it".

Henry scoffed" I never ever made a promise to you about anything".

I raised my voice" You promised me that Chloe was nothing more than a friend and that you wouldn't leave me".

Ray said" Alright, stop arguing"

Henry shouted" WELL! I'M SORRY SAVANNAH. I DON'T LOVE YOU ANYMORE!".

Those words hit me hard, I didn't know what I was supposed to do or say. I just wanted to cry, I slapped Henry and ran to the elevator I pressed the button and stepped in. As the elevator fully closed I started crying.

Henry's POV

I can't believe I just yelled at Savannah, I didn't mean to say what I did, she just made me mad.

I thought to myself: I'm such an idiot

Ray asked irritatedly" Did you really have to say that?".

I replied" I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at her she just upset me".

Ray said" Well, There's no emergency anymore".

I walked towards the tubes" I'm going home". I yelled up the tube and up I went.

I didn't know how to fix things with Savannah I knew she obviously probably hated me, I am such an idiot. Now things are going to be more difficult then they were before.

I didn't know what to do. I ruined everything....
