I've texted Maya about a hundred times now and she still hasn't answered I've called FaceTime I even emailed her. Who the fuck still emails people.
I still have no idea what the hell happened Maybe I said to much and she just wasn't ready for it I don't know but whatever I said I take it back if it means losing her.
Right about now I was walking to Riley's house because she texted me and told me and I quote "bay window bay window right now young man!"
I enter the house because they never lock there doors it's sad really they trust people way to easily. I walked straight to her room and saw the whole core 6 sitting there waiting on me I'm guessing.
I walked in an only started at Maya. She stared back but didn't say much until Riley bumped her and she finally spoke up.
"Ow! I-I mean hi josh.." She turned away from me
"Maya what did I do? Did I say something that freaked you out cause if I d-"
"I just think that a college relationship involves more than I thought it would and I can't give that to you...so I think we shou-"
"Don't say it Maya....please don't say what I really hoped you would never say.." I looked her dead in her eyes. She continued to stare anywhere but at me.
"Josh....you want to do things that....I-I'm not ready for..." She finally looked at me her eyes watery.
"What? Maya when I said we could do things in my dorm room I meant like make out or something.."
"Or something josh thats just it I don't want to do 'or something' with you....I'm not ready for that!" She stood up at this point her voice had gotten louder and scratchier.
"Then we don't have to do it I'm not pressuring you if your not ready then you're not ready...I would never make you do things that you don't want to do" My voice had gotten louder just a little bit I didn't mean for it to it just did
She didn't say anything she just stared at me. We stared at each other. For awhile actually. "So like the spectators back here our waiting for you two to kiss or something resolve this whole thing." Zay stood up and came between the small space that was between Maya and I.
"C-can I talk to josh alone please?" Maya said as she looked back at everyone.
"DAMNIT zay told ya not to speak and they won't notice us.." Lucas said as he dragged zay outta the room
Once we were alone Maya got closer to me. I could feel my heart jumping out my chest. I felt the little drips of sweat dripping down my forehead.
"Josh I've never done anything intimate with anyone before....which is why I'm scared that if I go to your dorm or something things mi-"
"That would never happen without your approval." I said cutting her off.
"Promise?" She held out her pinky finger to me while looking at me
"Promise." I wrapped my pinky finger around hers. She raised it to her lips and kissed it. She then pulled my face down to hers and kissed me.
The kiss would have probably been longer but she stopped it. When we came up my eyes were still closed which earned me a smack to the face. It was a soft smack though
"Wanna go on an adventure?" Maya asked like she didn't just smack me
"You do realize you just smacked the fuck outta me right?" I said staring at her.
"Come on loser." She said as she went straight for the window to climb down the fire escape.
