Josh's POV
It was a quiet drive back to her house. Once we arrived I got out and walked her to her door. I may be mad but I'm still a gentleman.
She chuckled a little bit and continued looking down.
"What's so funny?"
"The fact that even though your mad at me and probably hate my guts you still walk me to my door."
"Yeah well your welcome. Bye.."
"Josh come inside..."
She said grabbing my hand.
"Don't you hate me?"
She didn't say anything she just pulled inside and pushed me on her couch. Two minutes later she came back with a ice cold bag of peas and a damp washcloth.
She sat down on my lap and pressed the bag of peas on my eye. Not gently I might add. She took the damp cloth and started to clean off the blood.
Once she was done she kept her hand on the bag of peas. She removed the cloth of my lips and continued staring at them.
She breathed in and stared moving closer she was an inch close to my lips. Her lips were brushing up against my lips. And then she got of my lap and handed me the bag of peas to hold.
I breathed out.
"I don't hate you josh. I just don't think you love me."
"Why?"
"Because....you only said it because of what Ryan told you. That's the only reason you said it."
"No I said it because I do love you. Maya I've never been so sure and positive about loving someone. With you it's like i know that i love you just by the way that I look at you. The way when someone says your name and I instantly start smiling. When you text me and I instantly get happy. You can't tell me I don't love you because I do. Why can't you accept that?"
"Because josh love doesn't exist. Love is just something people to say to make people happy. Love doesn't last it's just a phase."
"My love for you isn't a phase Maya."
"You just want me to say it back. And it's not gonna happen bec-"
"I don't want you to say it back. I just wanted you to know how I felt. Maya all you have to do is accept the fact that I love you and then we can move on and Continue our happy relationship..."
"Fine....your right I can't tell you how you feel. I don't believe you but we can move on...."
"You don't have to believe me...I believe me"
I said I got off the couch and handed her back her peas.
"Bye maya..."
"Bye josh."
She said. She sounded kind of sad.
"Are you gonna be okay?"
"I'll be fine..."
She said as she walked me out.
"I love you.."
I smiled knowing how she was gonna react.
She kissed me on the cheek and closed the door in my face. Not before rolling her eyes at me though.
Now you probably thinking I left her house. But I knew she didn't want me to leave. Her moms outta town which means she is there by herself. I went around to her window and saw her putting her hair.
She started to take off her shirt which is when I looked away. Privacy.
I took out my phone and waited till she was finished.
