Chapter 58: Mr. Grinch

The dance moms camera crew is still following us around despite the winter break. I suppose they knew that this would turn into a fight with the moms sooner or later. It's annoying. We're just trying to learn how to sing our song.

"Good work today girls! It sounds great now if you forget a little just go back and watch the video we recorded. You'll do great tomorrow I can't wait to see the final product." Natalia advised us after we finished singing the song.

"Oh I'll make sure they won't forget it. They'll be singing this in their sleep." Abby told Ms Natalia.

"Well then good luck tomorrow girls." Ms Natalia chuckled at Abby's remark.

"Thank you." Maddie and I replied happily as for we are done singing for the day, since that's basically all we've been doing all day.

The three of us said our goodbyes to Ms Natalia for now. Then Maddie and I followed behind Abby into the office.

Abby had us post a flyer image for the auditions Thursday on all of our social media sites. "While I have you two girls all to myself I'll have you know I'll be taking advantage. I plan on setting up a session of pictures with Blue Bot Studios and a session with Jordan Matter for some outside festive dance pictures."

"That's cool with us." I laughed in response.

"It is cool. I'm also planning a private party meet and greet for you and Maddie the Thursday before the video releases."

"Wow, sounds like our schedule is going to be pretty packed." Maddie acknowledged.

"So basically the usual schedule." I concluded.

"Yep."

"Being busy is an amazing thing. It means you're working, getting paid, improving your future, and getting your name out there." Abby taught us. Abby was always there to teach us a lesson whenever possible. Sometimes what she's teaching isn't always right, but she wasn't wrong about being busy. I love being busy and the reasons why would be exactly what Abby had listed.

"By the way thanks for those subs, we didn't think we were going to get fed." Maddie laughed.

"Yeah thanks."

"Your welcome girls. But I should probably get some dinner in you two. How about the three of us go get some dinner together?" Abby suggested.

"Sure!" Maddie and I both agreed.

Maddie, Abby, and I were being seated at the restaurant we had chosen and we began chatting while we waited to order. We had chosen a booth with Maddie and I sitting on one side and Abby sitting on the other.

"Abby are you going to go back home to Pittsburgh over the break?" Maddie asked.

"Actually I'm not. There's nothing left for me in Pittsburgh anymore. The Pittsburgh branch is doing just fine, I visited it right before the season started. I don't think there's any need for me to go back. I think I'll just hang out here in LA with Katie."

"You're going to miss out on the snow." Maddie teased.

"That is true, but I don't think I'll mind the sun and sand."
