Chapter 24: A Little bit of Fun

After dance, as planned I had a sleepover with Maddie. When we got to her house Maddie and I went straight upstairs to her room.

"Let's make a vine." Maddie told me as we plopped onto her bed.

"Sure, what about?" I asked.

"I don't know." Maddie laughed.

"Okay then." I laughed pulling out my phone.

"She don't know." Maddie said starting to film the vine pointing to me.

"I don't know." She said pointing to herself.

"We don't even know!" "She said pointing to both of us.

"I know that your annoying!" I joked.

"I know that too." Maddie looked down and acted sad. Once the vine ended we both were laughing so hard.

"What in the world was that!" I asked.

Maddie began to shrug her shoulder and almost said something but I cut her off. "Don't say I don't know."

"Shoot." She replied laughing.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Someone was knocking at the bedroom door constantly. We both knew exactly who it was though.

"What do you want Kenz?" Maddie shouted.

"My makeup!" Mackenzie shouted from the other side of the door.

Maddie got up from the bed and opened her door. "I don't have your makeup."

"Come on I know you do. Kacy and I just want to do makeup!" Mackenzie said annoyed. Kacy was the friend Mackenzie was having over.

"Mackenzie I don't have your makeup." Maddie said crossing her arms.

"Yes you do." Mackenzie walked into the room and started rummaging through her stuff looking for the makeup.

"Kenz stop, you're messing up my room completely." Maddie said to Mackenzie.

Mackenzie kept looking. "Mom, Mackenzie is messing up my room!" Maddie shouted so her mom could hear.

Maddie and Mackenzie's dad came upstairs. "Girls, why are you fighting?" He asked annoyed.

"Because Mackenzie won't stop messing up my room." Maddie said sitting back down on the bed.

"I'm looking for my makeup that Maddie took from me!" Mackenzie said turning to face her dad in the doorway.

"Mackenzie your mother and I have been telling you all week to get your makeup out of the bathroom downstairs." He said annoyed.

"Whoops my bad..." Mackenzie said awkwardly exiting the room.

"Girls there's salad downstairs if your hungry." Their dad said walking out Maddie's room.

"You see what I have to deal with." Maddie said annoyed.

"Hey being the only child isn't just fun and games." I replied.
