"I'm your Topanga?"

This was requested by huddin46 :) there's rumors going around that in Girl Meets Goodbye, we find out that Maya is Josh's Topanga. I personally believe she is. So this oneshot will be about how Maya finds out. Enjoy!

Riley and the family just dropped the bombshell that they might be leaving NYC. Maya and the gang are comforting her.
Cory: *pulls Josh aside* my brotha do you remember when I left for New York?
Josh: I was two Cory. But I do remember you telling me that I'd find my own Topanga *smiles while thinking about Maya*
Cory: you remembered *smiles* good because you found her and need to tell her.
Josh: *looks at him shocked* tell who what?
Cory: *glances at Maya* you can't be telling me that you haven't figured it out!
Josh: *whispered yelled* SHHH! Lower your voice! Of course I knew it's Maya! It's always been her. I joined the long game for gods sake! I don't know how to tell her.
Riley: *smiles while wiping her tears* Uncle Josh. You have to tell her. If it's true that I'm moving, she needs someone here to help her. You. She'll need you.
Josh: *turns around to face Riley* you heard everything we said didn't you? *blushes*
Riley: yup. Every word *smiles*
Cory: *chuckles* did Maya?
Josh: oh my god what if she heard! Where is she? *looks around the room to see the blonde is not in sight*
Riley: check the roof. I saw her head up there *laughs as Josh runs out of the apartment*

Maya: *looking at the view of the city* wonder if he'll come...
Josh: *slowly walks behind her* always. What are you doing up here? *smiles*
Maya: *bites her lip* I'm trying to figure out if I should hug you or slap you.
Josh: *wide eyed* why?
Maya: I'm your Topanga? What does that mean? *looks at him*
Josh: Cory said one day I'd find my own Topanga. My soulmate. I've known for a while it's always been you *rubs the back of his neck*
Maya: Josh, if I'm your Topanga, are you saying what I think you're saying? *looks hopeful*
Josh: *hugs her* I'm still in the long game ferret. But I know what you're asking. Yeah I pretty much told you I'm in love with you *blushes*
Maya: would it make the long game harder if I said I'm in love with you too? *smiles*
Josh: it'd make it harder resisting calling you mine *smirks*
Maya: *rests her head on his chest and looks at the sunset* can we just stay here? I don't want to accept that my best friend might be moving away. I'll be alone.
Josh: you're never going to be alone. If she does move, you have me. Heck even if she stays, you have me. I'm not going anywhere and if I do leave, you're coming with me *kisses her head*
Maya: if I'm your Topanga does that make you my Cory? *laughs*
Josh: *laughs* we both know I'm cooler than him. Plus I'm positive Riley is the Cory to your Shawn.
Maya: boing, this long game is definitely harder knowing that we both moved deeper than just liking each other.
Josh: you're right ferret. But I'm done keeping you in the dark about my feelings. Let's go back inside and cheer up my niece.

Turns out Riley isn't moving! She stays in NYC with her friends and Josh and Maya continue their ride on the long game.
