Someday is Now

I know I've done a one shot already about this but this was requested by Miraculousladybugcat and I couldn't deny that there's a ton of different ways their someday can occur. So I hope you all enjoy!

This takes place during ski lodge right after Josh and Maya agree on someday.
Josh: *smiles at Maya holding his hand* let go...
Maya: *smiles* someday.
Josh: *chuckles* well I'm going to go pack up my stuff. See you later?
Maya: yeah. We have the bus ride *smirks*
Josh: *smiles and walks up the stairs to go pack*
Topanga: *sitting on the couch listening to everything* Maya what just happened?
Maya: Josh just told me he likes me. But we can't be together now so we agreed to someday *smiles*
Topanga: I knew he liked you. It's about time he said something! *smiles and sits next to Maya*
Maya: you knew? How did I not know? *looks shocked*
Topanga: think about it honey. Did he ever say "I don't like you"? No he hasn't. He always played the age difference card because he was scared to admit it. He always smiles when you're around.
Maya: *smiles* you're right. He never said anything to make me think he didn't like me. He always did like me hasn't he?
Topanga: *nods* since the day he met you. Now go pack because we're leaving soon *smiles and walks away*
Maya: *smiles* he's liked me since I was 7... eight years...

Meanwhile with Josh packing
Josh: *packing up his clothes as he hears a knock at the door* come in.
Cory: *walks in* hey Josh. How'd your conversation with Maya go?
Josh: *smiles* I did it Cor. I finally told her I like her. We agreed on someday since we can't be together now.
Cory: who said you can't be together now? *raises his eyebrow*
Josh: she's three years younger. I don't want her to miss out on life because of me *looks down*
Cory: do you want to be with her right now?
Josh: more than anything in the world bro. I like her a lot.
Cory: no my baby brother. You don't just like her. You love her *smiles*
Josh: love? *looks at him*
Cory: Josh it took you so long to admit to yourself that you like her. But you love her. Deep down you know you do. Let your guard down and go get Maya.
Josh: you're saying we could be together and you'd be okay with it?
Cory: yes. I love you both and I want you both to be happy. Now go talk to her and tell her that someday is now. Tell her on the bus. Also, remember what I told you before I left philly? *walks out the door*
Josh: *gasps* she's my Topanga... I love her.

Everyone is getting on the bus to go home
Maya: *gets on and sees an empty seat next to Josh* hey Boing mind if I sit here? *bites her lip*
Josh: of course *smiles* I saved the seat for you anyways.
Maya: you did? That's sweet *sits next to him*
Josh: I need to tell you something. Something I've known for a while but now I've come to terms with it *looks at her nervously*
Maya: *looks at him and takes his hand* Josh. You can tell me anything *smiles*
Josh: *takes a deep breath* I know we made a deal for someday. But after a talk with Cory I realized something. When Cory and Topanga were leaving for New York, Cory told me I'd find my own Topanga. My soulmate. I've had an idea on who she is for a while but now I know for sure. It's you Maya. It's always been you. You're my Topanga. I'm sorry it took me so long to admit to myself that I have feelings for you. It's more than like. I love you Maya. I really do *looks at her and sees her biting her lip*
Maya: you love me? I love you too. I have since we met. But why are you telling me this now? What does this mean? *looks at him scared of what he'll say*
Josh: *squeezes her hand* what I'm saying is that I don't want to wait to be with you. Who cares about the age difference. Someday is right here right now. Will you be my girlfriend? *smiles*
Maya: *smiles and hugs him* yes I'll be your girlfriend!
Josh: *kisses her* I love you Maya Penelope.
Maya: and I love you Joshua Gabriel *smiles* someday is now.
Josh: yes it is *pulls her close and kisses her head*
