Okay so I've been requested to do a Joshaya wedding but first let's do a one shot on how Josh pops the question!
Maya and Josh have been dating for 5 years since Maya was 16 (Josh couldn't take it anymore so he asked her out at her 16th birthday party). It's a spring day in April Maya: *walks into her apartment she shares with Josh at 6 pm after work* Josh I'm home! Josh: *smiles* I'm in the kitchen! Maya: *walks into the kitchen and sees Josh cooking* mmm it smells good in here! Josh: *smiles* I'm cooking us a special dinner ferret *kisses her cheek* so go relax until I'm done baby. Maya: *hugs him* I'm so lucky to have such a sweet boyfriend. Josh: your dad didn't think I was so sweet when he chased me around the roof after I asked you out *laughs* Maya: *smiles* you asked me out after playing a few months of the long game Josh *chuckles* Josh: I couldn't take it. I needed to be able to call you mine *smiles* and you're most definitely mine *winks* Maya: *blushes* I love you Josh. Thank you for everything. Josh: I love you more. Now go rest while I finish here *kisses her* Maya: *goes into the living room and watches tv* Josh: *finishes cooking and setting the table* babe you can come in now! Maya: *walks over and gasps* it's so romantic Boing!

It felt so natural. Just like holding hands. It never felt wrong. Josh: you know what feels even more right? *smirks* Maya: *smiles* what? Josh: this *gets down on one knee* Maya: *gasps* Boing...? Josh: Maya Penelope, you are the love of my life. My soulmate. It took me a few years to figure out I've always loved you. The second I got you in my arms, I never wanted you to leave. I'm so much in love with you that I can't imagine a second without you. I want to grow old with you. I want to be the father of our children. Please do me the greatest honor and be my wife. Will you marry me? *smiles and opens the ring box*
