A Game all the Same

I'm not a perfect child
I'm not timid- I'm not mild
But still I live today.

I don't glow with holy light
I can't fight impossible fights
My halo is bent and bruised.

On water I can't walk
To millions I can't talk
Never has the spotlight approved.

Death will greet me
One day, defeat me
For I am only human.

God's son am I not
Salvation I haven't brought
But as your child, here I am.

So take me or break me,
Love me or hate me,
It's all the same in the end

Learn to accept and love,
Shake off the hatred- rise above!
If  you so dare.

Or you could deny me,
Curse me, Crucify me,
And I'll be dead all the same.

So how I ask, In this game of life,
Do you intend to play this game?
