The sky looked gloomy when I poked my head out of the window after getting up from bed. The cold weather makes me want to sleep longer, but there's something called 'school', and I have no choice but to be apart from my baby bed.

As usual, I did my morning routine and went downstairs for breakfast. Although my mother is always busy and I seldom see her face every day, she would never forget to prepare breakfast or dinner for me. Ah, I'm not those ungrateful brats who blames their parents for not receiving enough love and affection. They just used it as an excuse for turning into rebellious teens.

While having my breakfast in the kitchen, I saw a pink note pasted on the table. I picked it up and it reads:

hey daughter, I'm so sorry for not having breakfast with you again.. you'll never know how guilty am I. I hope you don't blame me.. just remember i love you so much, darling. And, I won't be home tonight. You can just use my credit card to buy yourself some pizzas or something.

I hummed and continued eating my breakfast. When I was ready to go to school, I decided not to bring an umbrella along since the weather turned sunny and bright. Smiling to myself, I skipped happily to school under this nice weather.

But my smile soon turned into a frown as I was called into the principal's office. Our principal, Kim Nam Joon, looked at me with piercing gaze. He never failed to make me nervous. Every students in this school feared him.

"Kwon Hye Mi-ssi. " he called out my name, using his deep voice.

"Y-Yes? "

He sighed, leaning back to his office chair and spun around a few times, "Did you know you didn't pass your mathematics examination since last year? " he asked.

I nodded nervously, sweat forming on my forehead and my back. I was shaking in fear, afraid that he would expell me from this school.

"Since you're really bad at Mathematics, I think I should assign someone to teach you personally, don't you think so? "

"Yes, sir. " I responded. Although I don't want anyone to teach me, I can't just say no to Mr. Kim, right?

Then, someone knocked on the door twice, startling me. "Come in. " said Mr. Kim, and the door was opened, revealing a slender, white figure. I almost thought he's a slender man, but slender man is tall, and this student isn't that tall to be a slender man.

Ah, meet Min Yoon Gi, my personal, all-time-favourite student of this school. " Mr. Kim said with a proud look, "Yoongi-ssi, I would want you to tutor Hyemi-ssi until the upcoming examination. Understood? "

The student nodded, examining me from head to toes. I nervously bowed, introducing myself.
"H-Hello sunbae, my name is Kwon Hye- "

"Yeah, I know who you are. " the Yoongi guy said, "We'll start the lesson today. I'll meet you at the school gate after school. "
