Lexi's pov.

After we rushed Sam to the emergency room after she blacked out. I felt really worried.

I was told to wait outside while the doctor discussed things with Lucas and Maya.

I still eavesdropped though, its one of the things I do best.

"So I'm afraid it looks like Samantha's allergies have gotten worse" the doctor sighed.

"She will be alright, but they have turned from bad, to severe" he said. That's when my heart starting beating faster.

Sam has had peanut allergies since we were really little. They weren't that bad before, she would just get rashes,

Then it went from that, to not being able to breathe. Now this?

Whats next? Oh let's see! They can be her cause of death.

Then Maya and Lucas came out and sat by me.

"Why didn't you tell us you were feeling left out and forgotten?" Lucas asked.

"Oh please! Like you would care" I spat looking at the celling.

"No Lexi, tell us why" Maya said. "You have got the looks. Sam is beautiful! anybody would fall for her. Anybody would be 'Hey Sam whats the matter?' Or 'Hey Sam I'm here for you'" I exclaimed.

"What? I really don't understand?" Maya said confused. "My point is that why is it so hard for you guys to come to me and ask me how I feel for once? How my life is going, the problems I'm facing?" I asked.

"Lex-" I cut Lucas. "No. I want to understand. Why is it so easy for you guys to do that with Sam?'

"Do you think that she's weaker?! Do you think that, 'Oh maybe because Lexi dresses and plays tons of sports like a guy means that she doesn't need us'?" I snapped.

"Lex, calm down!" Maya said calmly like it was nothing. "No! don't Lex calm down me!" I said and was building up the anger for a come back when we hear Sam at the top of her lungs.

"STOP ARGUING!"

For someone who couldn't breathe an hour ago, I must say. That was pretty good.
