Chapter Five: Taking Advantage

Lucas' pov.

We drove back home after the emergency visit.

Sam dashed upstairs before everyone else got in the house. Lexi went up after her.

A couple minutes later Lexi ran down. "Oh Lucas!" she called.

"Yes?" I asked looking up from my phone. "Can we go out for ice cream?" she asked.

"Uh sure! Where's Sam?" 

"She's upstairs sleeping" she shrugged and I nodded. "Let's go then!"

 -after the ice cream-

"Thank you Lucas, I had a good time" Lexi smiled.

"No problem kid" I said and side-hugged her.

She is a pretty awesome kid, Sam was right.

"Hey where have you to been?" Maya asked. "We went out for ice cream" I told her.

"Where's Sam?" she asked looking around.

"I told you! In our room sleeping" Lexi said then went outside to the trampoline.

Lexi's pov.

I went out to the trampoline and started to do backflips.

Then Lucas came out and scared me from behind while I wasn't looking.

 "BOO!" he yelled in my ear. "Lucas! I hate you" I exclaimed chuckling.

"Take that back Lex!" he warned. "Nope" I said popping the "p"

"Alright then" Lucas smirked and got in the trampoline.

He then started tickling me.

"Lucas stop!" I yelled laughing my head off. "Take that back!" he said.

"Say I'm the best brother in the entire world!"

"You're the best brother in the entire world!" I sighed defeated and put my hands up in defence.

"That's what I thought" Lucas smiled and so did I.

Maybe its a good thing that Sam left. I get more time with my other siblings.

And I like it!
