Chapter Six: Feeling Bad and Caught

Lexi's pov.

All these thoughts took over my mind. This was true wasn't it?

I'm such a bad sister, I guess I'm just Jealous.

I quickly ran up to my room and looked for the note she wrote before leaving.

I looked over the beginning till I read the last part. 

"Also, don't worry about me. I'll be at Auggie's house"

I ran back downstairs and grabbed my coat.

"Where are you going?" Lucas asked me stopping my actions. "You know where" I said before leaving.

I reached the Matthew's apartment and without even knocking I barged in the house.

"Huh! I'd thought you'd come" Tyler said. The whole gang was there.

They were all staring at me. Even Ms. and Mr.Matthews! Oh I was not ready for this.

"Yeah..this is to awkward....I'm going to try that again" I said stepping out the door.

Gosh I just embarrassed me in front of everyone! including my crush!  ;)

I knocked on the door. Seconds later Riley answered it. 

"Why is this still awkward?!" I said accidentally thinking out loud. 

"Because, you never come here, you barely hang out with us, you never really socialise" Farkle said.

"Oh I wonder why" I said in my mind.

"Not the point!" I exclaimed. "Where is she?" I asked looking around.

"Right here" A voice said. I looked up and saw Sam looking down at me.

"Come home" I smiled as she walked down. "No" she answered shrugging.

"Why not? Lucas and Maya have been looking for you everywhere!" I said.

"I took so  much from you. This is the only way to give it back" she said.

"Look, I really enjoyed all the time I spent with them. Just the three of us.  Except our life isn't like that. We have another sister. That's you" I said. "I'm not so sure I understand" She answered.

"I have by far not been the best sister in the world. I never thought about how you felt. I always wanted what you had. You life seemed so happy and perfect" I said and a tear slipped down my cheek.

"I've been a terrible sister. The worst in the entire world" I said. 

"Lexi I-" No. You were right and I was wrong" I said cutting her. " Give Maya and Lucas a call. Tell them you're here" I looked down.

"Tell them that you ran away because of me. Either way, I'll get in trouble" I shrugged.

"Is there some drama over here?!" Ava said walking down with Auggie. Then the gang shushed her.

"Come home Sam" I said stepping out the door. "Lexi wait!" Sam stopped me. 

She ran upstairs to get her bag. "I'm coming too" she said and took my hand.

We smiled at each other and then hugged. "Awww" He heard a crowd of people chant.

I looked over and saw them with their phones out recording us.

"Oh come on!" I exclaimed and stepped out.

-in the Friar's house-

"WE'RE HOME!" we sung stepping in.

"Sam! Where have you been!?" Lucas and Maya ran in hugging her.

"Sam. You have some explaining to do" Maya said and pulled out an inhaler.

Sam turned bright pink probably of embarrassment. "Sam! what the heck is that?!"

I asked. "But to answer Lucas' question first" she quickly said.

" I left the note remember?" she asked him. "What note?" Lucas asked.

"The note I left in mine and Lexi's room. Lexi, you showed them right? You cared. Didn't you?"

Now I turned bright pink quickly realising what she was talking about.

"Lexi!" Lucas exclaimed. "Sam! Why didn't you tell me?!" I looked at her.

"Why didn't you tell them?!" she asked. "Because you ran away! You wanted me to forget about you!" I defended myself.

"It also could have been a test to see what kind of sister you are!" she said. "Well now you know! You secret-keeper so called sister!" I said and ran to our room locking the door.

Great! Now we're mad at each other, and in huge trouble!
