6. Break

After a month of living as trainees under BigHit Entertainment, the seven young men had gotten used to their everyday routine. It was now December and their schedule consisted of:

Waking up
Getting dressed
Eating breakfast
Walking to the studio
Training
Eating lunch (usually bulgogi)
Training some more
Going back to the dorm
Calling friends/family
Playing video games
Watching movies (sometimes)
Eating dinner
Getting ready for bed
Sleeping

Spending so much time together had brought them all closer, and they each felt they could call each other close friends.

On one Saturday morning, the boys woke up to snow on the ground. Excited, they rushed out to the window.

"Ooh, do we get a snow day?" Jungkook asked.

"No," Jimin laughed. "Today's Saturday and it's winter vacation staring Monday.

"Oh, that's even better!" He half-yelled to himself.

They got another surprise to delight them along with the white snow. Bang PDnim arrived, with a smile even bigger than the first time he arrived at their first meeting together as a group.

"Okay, guys, I have VERY good news for you all," he said, with a sense of eagerness in his voice. He paused for suspense, then finally said "YOU'RE TAKING TWO WEEKS OFF FOR THE HOLIDAYS!"

"Yeahhh~!" They all cheered.

"We can finally rest!"

"Time to see my friends and parents!"

"I get to play with Peppy, now!"

Everyone stared at Taehyung, who said that last sentence.

"What? Peppy's my little dog, my precious puppy!"

"Ohhh~" they understood now.

"I told you guys before..." Taehyung mumbled to himself, slowly letting his eyes drift to the ground.

"Oh Baekjoon will bring the black car again and bring you home for your vacation. Except for you, Jungkook, your parents said they want to pick you up themselves."

"Aww, man. Why do they treat me like a baby?" He whined.

"Maybe because you are one," Namjoon told him.

They all broke out in laughter while Jungkook pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.

Just then, they heard a beep outside the building. Jin looked outside and confirmed that it was OhBaekJoon hyung. But the trainees agreed that they would wait for Jungkook's parents to arrive because they didn't want the young one to stay all alone.

When Jungkook's parents drove into the parking lot of the building, the maknae ran up to the car and turned back to say goodbye to his friends. They waved back, happy to see he was safe.

Oh BaekJoon hyung honked the horn again and the other six filled the van, going back to the homes they haven't seen in a month.
