Don't Try

They fed me lies through their teeth
But they fool no one,
I see what's underneath.

"You can get better!"
'"It's all just in your head!"
Well you're not the one
Crying themselves to bed.

Give me false security.
Give me a release.
You all do not help
I'm nothing but the least.

I have nothing left.
My time has come again
To pull out fears beyond myself.
I have veins to tend.

I can't anymore.
I could barely from the start.
I'm too scared to try.
I'm too scared of my own heart.

I know you're worrying.
I know that you mean well.
But I can care as much as you.
Only time can tell.
